Ella's POV
The boy on the couch stirred in his seat, still unable to move.
"What are you doing here?" I whispered, walking towards Henry, hoping he heard me.
"We set up a guest room for him across from your room..." Scott said walking up to me and Henry, picking him up and carrying down the hall.
"Thank you!" I called out walking into the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. Once my coffee was done, I sat at the round table, flipping through my phone.
"I need to get a job..." I sighed, rubbing my temples. I stood up and entered my room to change into some old shorts and an old Fall Out Boy t-shirt I received from a concert.
I quietly walked across the hallway, peeping into the room to see if Henry was awake. He sat on the edge of the bed looking down at his hands. He was only wearing pants and his back was faced to me, showing three big scars.
Henry's POV
I was positive this was the right house. It took me years to track her. Years!
I was so close to dying, but I didn't, just for my sister Ella. Well not really my sister, but we were in a foster home together, so I guess shes my sister. I quietly sat on the bed taking in the nice scent of the room. Since when did Ella afford two homes? Oh and that maid that answered the door?
A noise was heard near the door. I turned around quickly to spot Ella. In the shorts and the over-sized T-shirt I got her for her 16th birthday.
"Hey Henry." She called out. I ran over to give her a hug. She smelled exactly like fresh lemons and lavender. Her cheeks were wet and her eyes were red from crying.
"I missed you so much." I muffled, burying my head in her neck. She patted my head
"I missed you too." She whispered.
Scott's POV
I quietly watched from the doorway smiling at the two's embrace.
I felt a jerking feeling in my chest moments later.
Was it jealousy?
