Episode 20: Dance, dance, Resurrection

A-troupe leaves first thing tomorrow morning for dancemania. Right now we're waiting for rehearsal to start but Nick just gave us our room assignments and no one is happy.

I got paired with Richelle and Amy but honestly everyone's trying to switch. Heath and I's plan is to hopefully switch to be with Kingston so we can eat all his snacks. Cause boy he brings a lot.

Sorry Lily but your boyfriend is our cater for this trip.

I want Ozzy to be in mine too but because we're dating I don't think Nick would allow it.

"Kingston packed those snacks for me." Henry starts to argue with Heath.

"No but they were for me."

"Guys I'm being serious, they're actually for me." I join in. 

"They're literally for me."

Richelle was supposed to be here to help Kingston out. But apparently she's gonna be an hour late. So everyone is stuck arguing about who's bunking with who.

We're in the middle of rehearsal when Nick and Emily both walk out. And the looks on their faces are making me both anxious and nervous.

My silly boyfriend isn't here because he had another bad sushi burrito but we're all a bit confused on where Richelle is.

"Everyone. I need your full attention." Emily starts.

"Everyone Richelle's gone!" Nick blurts out. Immediately sending everyone into a frenzy.

"What!"

"Gone as in competing as a soloist in dancemania."

I knew Richelle was having some moments about not feeling herself lately but I never thought she'd ditch the team.

"We leave for dancemania tomorrow morning. How are we supposed to compete without her?" Lily asks.

"Look this is not time to panic. All you can do is keep practicing your dance and make sure it's perfect."

Richelle leaving has thrown everything off balance. The ten person dance, even the resurrection round was supposed to be her and Kingston.

She was always 'team first' but obviously all the emotions were getting to her. Maybe there's a reason she left. I don't wanna jump to conclusions straight away.

Now we just have to work on our dance and perfecting that one. While Kingston and Finn work on a new duet.

We've been working on the dance for a while and it's not bad. Finn and Kingston have disappeared to work on their duet while the rest of us try to decide on how to fix this.

We came up with idea of sticking with the 10 person dance, except we just need to find someone to add. We can't take another person off the dance just because one partner isn't here.

After decided the person we make our way to studio 1.

Where we see Summer dancing.

Just the person we're looking for.

As a perfect replacement for Richelle, Summer was our best choice. We just hope she says yes.

"So you want me to come to dancemania? I need time to think about this." She tells us.

"We're running out of time. We leave tomorrow." Lily tells her. 

As long as Summer says yes, we should be fine. All dances are choreographed and Summer picks up choreography quickly so shes the best pick for the spot. And considering we leave tomorrow, she really needs to make up her mind. And soon.

A- troupe is all set for dancemania. Now that Summer accepted our request, she's picked up the dances quite fast. I guess B-troupe will have to find a replacement for Summer.

I'm so excited that dancemania is so soon. I never imagined that we wouldn't be going to nationals.

I know there's a lot on people's mind. But I think now that we have Summer, I really think we could go far.
