Abbie managed to fall asleep rather quickly, which was unusual as he usually stayed up overthinking or crying all night and had barely been sleeping lately.

He started dreaming and suddenly found himself at school, walking through the hallways looking for Lana. He followed a soft humming, the voice of his beloved, down the hallway as he ran like a little puppy to find her.

Desperately, he ran and ran through the halls until he finally found the place. He slid open the door and saw her there. She was drawing on a table while humming a sweet melody that he didn’t recognize.

He felt his surroundings fill with color as he watched her make small, gentle strokes on the pages of her notebook. He was about to approach Lana when he suddenly heard a voice.

???:"Lana~ Hey dear Lana."

Abbie froze and turned to see an unfamiliar boy standing at the door. Tall but in the school uniform, he was confused. Who is this guy?

Lana immediately looked up, greeting the boy with a warm smile as if she didn’t notice Abbie.

The boy approached and unexpectedly kissed Lana. Abbie, in shock, felt his heart shatter at that moment, as if his heart was beginning to sink.

Abbie: "W-What’s happening?... Lana? Who is he? I don’t understand... N-No..."

Lana: "Hehe, you didn’t have to do that [???], you know it makes me nervous."

Abbie still didn’t understand that this was a dream. He started trembling as he watched Lana, who seemed to continue ignoring him.

Abbie: "L-Lana, why?... Are you replacing me?"

Tears started rolling down his cheeks as he felt his heart race, a mix of many things, mainly fear and sadness, as he watched them.

Then Lana finally spoke directly to him.

Lana: "Hey Abbie, I thought I told you, but I have a new boyfriend now."

Abbie: "What? B-But what about me? I thought you and I..."

Lana: "Yeah, well... I only accepted out of pressure, you know? You’re my best friend, I didn’t want you to feel bad but, you know-"

Abbie: "You know what!?"

He raised his voice.

Abbie: "If you didn’t want me, then... then..."

Abbie started crying hard and ran out of there, feeling like he was drowning in his own tears like a child. He ran and ran, feeling the taunts of his classmates.

And then he woke up. It was five in the morning. Abbie realized he had a nightmare as he looked at his hands, but his eyes were still wet from the stressful feeling of that nightmare.

Abbie: "Lana..."

Everything had been going so well.

Abbie put on his uniform and quickly left the house to get to school first. Nervously, he started waiting for Lana at the entrance. Even some teachers were surprised to see him there so early.

Almost half an hour passed, and Lana finally arrived. When she saw Abbie, she was also surprised to see he arrived first but was happy.

Lana: "Abbie! You’re here, come here."

She ran to hug him and kiss his cheeks. It was early, but she liked to take advantage of any time she had to be affectionate with him.

Abbie: "Lana..."

He looked at her with sad eyes, still not over that bad dream while he hugged her.

Abbie: "Don’t leave me..."

Lana: "Eh?... That’s a bit sudden. Is something wrong, sweetheart? Did I do something wrong?"

Abbie: "H-Hm... I had a bad dream, I dreamt you replaced me and didn’t love me anymore."

Lana: "Oh, poor thing, it’s okay, it’s okay."

She said softly, trying to console him as she caressed him.

Lana: "I could never replace you, there’s no one else like you... You are my guy, I don’t need anyone else but you and only you."

Abbie: "Promise me... You’re not going to replace me with someone else?"

Lana: "Alright, Abbie, I won’t."

She kissed his head while continuing to cuddle him.

After a while, they both went to the classroom, holding hands. Lana had a calm smile, looking quite happy to have Abbie as her official partner.

On the other hand, Abbie was also happy, but that bitter feeling of fearing someone might take his beloved away made him feel nervous and insecure.

They both sat together at the group table, with Abbie resting his head on Lana’s chest as he questioned his thoughts about the nightmare from last night.

Lana caressed him without saying much, thinking it might just be one of those days when Abbie felt down because of his depression.

The classroom started to fill up, and Claire and Engel sat at the same table, noticing how down Abbie looked.

Engel: "Hey, Abbie, are you okay?"

Claire: "Yeah, you look a bit um... more down than usual."

Lana: "Oh, don’t worry, my poor baby is just a bit down today, that’s all."

Claire: "Did you really just call him that? Hehe, I guess I was right."

Engel: "Oh, come on Claire, I don’t think it’s that-"

Lana blushed a little while smiling shyly.

Lana: "Actually, I have something to tell you guys."

Claire: "AH, I KNEW IT- Engel, you owe me 5 bucks for this."

Engel: "WHAT!? But, but-"

Lana giggled when she heard them arguing.

Lana: "It was yesterday... Abbie is so sweet, he wrote me a letter that melted me instantly."

Claire: "That’s so cute, I wish I had something like that too, umm."

Engel: "I didn’t know Abbie wrote things like that."

Abbie listened to the conversation, forgetting about his insecurity for a moment as he blushed and timidly played with his fingers, whispering.

Abbie: "W-Well... I wanted to give Lana something nice, I spent a few days thinking about that letter and umm..."

Lana: "Yes, it’s the sweetest thing I’ve read. Even the envelope had some dried flowers as decoration."

Claire: "Aww, that’s so cute. Abbie does know how to be romantic despite being shy, hehe."

Engel: "I guess... Maybe you should teach me a bit, Abbie. My letters look like boring homework."

The class kept filling up while they continued talking. Abbie was still nervous, but he seemed more at ease talking with them at that moment.
