(Part Two)
Kadence
I've just finished making a couple drops for the afternoon. And ain't nobody was hitting me up right now so I decided to go to Charlie's before I went home. I made it just time , causing it started pouring outside.
Grabbing a bag of sour punches and an Arizona I headed over to the cashier. I was about to pay for my stuff when I heard a familiar voice.
I turned around to see I'shana, Tiana and kimary.
"Now what are yall doing in here?" I was looking at kimary, while I'shana and Tiana went to another isle.
"I'shana wanted to come to the store, but ion know I'm getting bad vibes, and just started raining." Kimary said.
By kimary face I could this was really bothering her.
"You gonna be alright ma, just get yall stuff and we can dip on outta here, I'll bring yall home."
I grabbed kimary hand and went over to where I'shana and Tiana was.
"I'shana girl you ready to go? Something in my gut saying let's go." Tiana said.
"Oop, not yall holding hands." I'shana looked over at us.
Looking over at the store window I'd seen a car pull up, all windows tinted. I knew shit was bout to go down. I didn't like this feeling one bit.
"Yall get down N-"
My words were cut short when sounds of gunfire rang off in the store. The bullets were coming in fast. Knocking over items on the shelves. I could hear people yelling. I already could tell a few people were hit.
"Huddle up and don't move from this spot, I'll be back I promise."
"you swear you'll back Kadence?" My sister said. She had tears swelling up in her eyes, my heart was hurting for her.
One of the last things our mother said to us was I'll be back, and she never did, hurt Tiana more than she knew.
"Have I ever let you down?" I said wiping her eyes. And she shook her head no.
I'shana was now crying, hugging her sister. And Tiana was just now silent holding on to kimary.
"I gotchu" I whispered to kimary. And laid a kiss on her forehead. She whispered okay. No tears in her eyes. I just know she was putting on a brave front.
I left them in the corner where we were standing, and made my way towards where I heard some of the bullets. And I wasn't surprised who I saw.
Dope dummy Aries and 2 of his minions, ain't this nigga just get outta jail.
I knew I had an advantage on one of his minions. I creeped up behind wrapping one arm around his neck.
Catching him off guard and knocking the gun outta his hand with my other hand. When the gun was down I used my leg and kicked his, making him buckle down for the floor.
I got him on his knees. Moving fast enough I grab the gun. While he was catching his breath on the ground I quickly yoked him by the front of his shirt and started punching like there was no tomorrow. I left his face bruised and bloody. Pushing him to ground grabbing the gun and knocking him out. That nigga could dead for all I cared.
His minions was about as skinny as a stick, had nothing up against me.
Gun in my hand, I went searching for for the next minion. Store wasn't that big. I felt something behind me.
Little purple minion thought he was fast, but I was quicker. I ducked making him trip over me. Seeing him tumbling over, I shot em in his leg twice. He was groaning in pain.
"Dumb ass nigga." I whispered.
"Who the dumb one now?" I heard.
I looked up and saw Aries. Gun in hand.
Man all I could think about right now was my sister, my bae and couldn't forget little I'shana.
"Nigga, shoot me though." I said out loud.
I had bout two bullets left, I was gonna make it count.
"You came and shoot up a damn store, where kids and adults shop, pussy ass nigga." I said.
Aries was one where if you talk enough, you could get riled up.
"You the pussy, I ain't never been scared."
"Shoot me then." I said.
For someone who says there are so big and bad Aries sure seem nervous. He got closer and this was my chance. Using them last two bullets I got em right in the stomach but I felt something gaze mine and the sound his gun went off.
Looking at my stomach it was bleeding, not overly bad but the shit still hurt. I could make it outta here.
Aries fell down to the ground onto his knees. I walked past him and spit, while holding onto my stomach.
Man I was so tired I had blood on my hands my shirt was dirty and I was ready to go.
Where is Tyrone and Jordan when you need em?
Where the damn police when you need em?
Ha I'm just playing. I gets shit done.
I went and found my girls. They got were still on the floor in the corner. Just rocking back and forth.
"I told you I'll be back."
Tiana looked up and came running to me.
"You're bleeding Kadence!" She said when she got a good look at me.
"Don't worry imma be Ight , we gonna have to leave soon very soon."
I could see kimary and I'shana starting to stand up. Kimary was making sure I'shana was okay. I motioned to them towards me.
"that looks like it hurts kade, you gotta get to the hospital or something." Kimary said.
"It's okay yall can give me a hug, and don't worry imma be good."
Letting them all feel relief for all few more minutes. And suddenly the door opens. And in walked Tyrone and Jordan guns in hands.
"Kimary!? I'shana!?" Jordan yelled.
They looked up and ran to their brothers. And finally I could see Kimary starting to cry.
There was a moment of unspoken silence a mutual respect for one another between her brothers and me. They simply gave me a head nod. And brought them out the store.
I could hear police sirens and I wasn't trying to be here, when they showed up. I took Tiana hand lead her to the car.
Now I ain't the best at writing fighting scenes so i tried! 😭😭 any tips, any feedback? Any suggestions? How do we feel about the story progression?💋
