Kimary
I decided to stay home from school. I wasn't overly tripping. Definitely didn't want to go to school anyways. It was about 11am or so, I was laying down when I saw a message from Tiana. I haven't heard from my girl in a while.
Tiana💕: Hey honey, you good?
yes ofc I'm good, is you good?
Tiana💕: you know a real gangster don't cry!
bitch , you lying 😂😂😂.
Tiana💕: is my good sis good?
yeah she alright I still think she feel a little guilty, but I know Jordan will talk to her.
Tiana💕: okay hun, we gonna talk soon I'm sure I'll see you later.

Tiana just laughed at the message. That girl was always laughing at something I swear. I decided to get up and go check on I'shana. She was laying down on her bed, just looking up onto the celling.
"Buttercup are you okay?"
"yes, just thinking."
"About what?"
"Ion know, like what if we didn't go to the store ya know."
"Listen it is not your fault, that dumb ass Aries did that."
"But look your man got hurt."
"Girl stop saying my man." I said with a small smile.
"Look at you smiling bout it, anyways Kimary will stay with me for a little?"
"Of course scoot over."
She ended falling asleep after a while, and I made my way back to my room. I haven't spoken to Kadence I wonder what he doing. And it's like he heard me cause I checked my phone and saw a message from him.
Kadence:) : hey pretty, what you doing the rest of the day?
nothing much just sitting around the house.
Kadence :) : let me take you out We can finish that conversation we had.
okay sure , what time should I be ready?
Kadence :) : 10 minutes ?
okay I'll see you soon.
Kadence :) : alright ma.
I went off to my room and got ready he didn't really say what we were doing so I didn't do too much. My braids I put up into a bun did my edges, and put on my gap sweat suit. And my crocs. And of course my jewelry.
By the time I was done Kadence was outside. When I was walking to car , pops was walking out with me.
"Now pops where are you going?"
"Between you and me I'm handling grown man business." he laughed.
Surprisingly Kadence was talking to Tyrone Jordan and Mari. They were being real secretive. I could tell by the little bundle they was in And when pops and I got to the car. They just looked at one another and dapped each other up.
"You niggas are so weird." I said laughing.
"Niggas?" My pops said.
I forgot he was there for a second. I ain't really know what to do so I just stood there. And everyone else laughed.
"Now where you going kimary?" He asked.
"I'm going with Kadence."
"to do what?"
"Hang out? I'm not sure what else is there" I responded.
Now I know my pops has meet Kadence but I wasn't sure what the vibe was around them. I would assume it was chill, the way they talked and dapped one another. But then again it could be on a somewhat business level.
Pops just looked Kadence up and down and spoke.
"What yall plan on doing?"
"We just going to get food, that's all." Kadence said.
And Mari stood there giggling like a little girl.
"Mari you always fucking laughing at some shit, and you barely fucking speak sometimes, nigga you gonna piss me off." Kadence said.
"shut the fuck up aint nobody worried bout you , what you need to be worried bout is making kimary your girl." He said pointing to me. "always calling my phone asking how you should go about the situation, about her brothers, them streets talk you know ole boy by 5th street wants to talk to kimary." Mari said all in one breath.
"What ole boy ?" Jordan said. I didn't really care to hear the rest of this conversation and I was ready to go.
"Can yall finish this another time?" I spoke.
Now the vibe was awkward, Kadence low key looked very much mad. And you could imagine what Mari was doing.
Fucking laughing while he pulled a blunt out from behind his ear and lit it. He took a pull and let the smoke blow out.
"It's cool." Tyrone said to pops.
"Let em vibe." Jordan said.
Was this They approval? You know I didn't care. Actually I kind of did , but I also just wanted to go with Kadence.
"Well we gonna go, we have wasted enough time."
"Kadence step into your car."
"Yeah do what she said." Mari said.
All of em just walked away mumbling something.
Kadence and I got into the car. And he started driving.
"Dumb ass Mari, always saying some shit."
"You want to make me your girl?" I said immediately.
"well I might as well , just get it out now. But yeah we've been knowing each other for a while."
"yeah a week" I said laughing.
"That don't matter, if you like somebody and I know I can see something with you then why wait?"
I was quiet, this has never happened to me before.
"I see you quiet , and you nervous playing with your fingers but it's cool. We gonna take our time and go at our own pace."
I liked how Kadence didn't rush me, he made feel safe. I liked his presence and embrace. That reminds me.
"You calling me ma, and pretty and the hand holding and the hugs, and kissing me on my forehead, like what's that about."
"Come on kimary let's not act slow, it cause you mine , gotta start making my moves, now where you wanna eat?"
I just smiled at his sentence.
"I want a burger and some fries, I haven't had that in a while."
"you wanna smoke?"
"You know last time I did that, Tiana said I was tripping out."
"You with me , you gonna be good."
We pulled into some burger joint and put the car in park.
He grabbed a bag from the back seat and started rolling up. Within no time he was done. He packed up and took his lighter and lit it. He rolled down his back windows down a little and the window overhead.
Taking a few pulls before he passed it to me. I took a few pulls before and started coughing.
"I forgot you still new to this, you know coughing only makes you higher, No wonder your ass was laughing up a storm." He said.
I took a like two more pulls before passing it back. It was quiet, no phones just passing the blunt back in forth. I liked this about us, is that Kadence and I didn't always need to talk.
We finished smoking and now we was just sitting in the car. This time I felt so calm and I was hungry as hell times ten. I looked over at Kadence who was already looking at me.
His eyes were low and red, and boy did he look good. He was smiling at me and started to lean in towards me and I mimicked his movement. Our faces were so close, I could feel his breath on my lips, he took his hand and put on the side of face kinda holding it.
I wanted to kiss him, I know he wanted to kiss me. He looked up at my eyes and then my lips.
"Have you ever kissed someone kimary?"
"no" I whispered.
"Have you done anything with anyone ma?"
"no".
Kadence smiled and showed all his teeth, before finally kissing me.
