Marian: Commander! I can't get through to the Ark!
Y/N: [thoughts] Well that's just great. I'm dying and Marian can't even get into contact with the Ark. Guess I'll just close my eyes, I guess a peaceful death isn't bad.
Just as Y/N closed his eyes an unknown voice called out to him and spoke with him
???: Well that's no good.
Y/N: [thoughts] Who said that?!
Y/N opened his eyes only to see that he is surrounded by darkness he then hears the voice again and looks around but he can't figure out where the voice is coming from or who it is
???: Don't worry, I mean no harm to you.
Y/N: Who... are you?
???:My name isn't important right now. But what is important is what you do next in your life.
Y/N: What do you mean? I'm slowly dying right now.
???: Oh you innocent soul. That's not what fate has in store for you. Let me show you some future events that would of happened had I not interfered.
Suddenly Y/N's mind is plagued with visions of the future. He sees Marian's corruption, Rapi's Red Hood mode, the Ark under attack from Raptures. Y/N is ultimately confused and a bit scared but he asks the unknown voice a question
Y/N: What does this mean?
???: It is exactly as you think, that is the future... or was since I interfered with the events. I have decided to not show you the full timeline but you will receive headaches and a vision when you meet certain people.
Y/N: What do you mean?
???: To put it bluntly, you live in a fictional world. Everything that happens was never by your or other people's choice. It was made that way because of those with higher power decided it to be that way. Not the best explanation but it works either way.
Y/N: That doesn't answer my question! But since you brought it up, what do you expect me to do?! Tell everyone that our lives and the choices we make don't matter?!
???: No, that would be boring and pointless. You will be the only one aware of this. What I want to see is how much you can change in this timeline.
