As Y/N, Marian, Anis, and Rapi move around trying to find an elevator so they can return to the Ark, Y/N was preparing himself for when he has to "end" Marian. Feeling that he's been too negative lately, he starts to recall his early days, back when he wasn't a full-time Commander yet.
Flashback
Y/N is currently heading to Ingrid for his internship with Absolute. It was mandatory for Commanders-in-training to work with a squad from Tetra, Elysion, or Missilis and the squads you work with are by chance to make it fair. However, you must fill in which one.of the three you want to work with on a paper before getting assigned to a squad from that company.
Y/N: I wonder what kind of Squad Absolute is.
Y/N makes his way to Ingrid's office and waits for around 2 to 3 minutes before he is called in. As soon as he makes his way inside he is greeted by Ingrid

Ingrid: I assume you're here for the internship with Absolute.
Y/N: Yes ma'am.
Ingrid: Let me ask you a question. What kind of Commander are you?
Y/N: Why do you ask?
Ingrid: Answer the question!
Y/N: Um... I would treat the Nikkes under my command very well and I wouldn't let anyone else tell me how to treat them.
Ingrid: I see... very well, though I must inform you that only Eunhwa will be here for your internship.
Y/N: Huh? Why only Eunhwa?
Ingrid: Emma and Vesti are under repairs right now, they took some heavy damage before the internship. As such you'll only be with Eunhwa for your internship.
Y/N: Well, it's not that bad I guess.
Ingrid: Eunhwa is a realist, she'll definitely see your ideals of treating nikkes with kindness foolish. So expect her to be very harsh towards you.
Y/N: Oh... where is she anyways?
Ingrid: She's at our very own Elysion Tower. She's currently training some new Nikkes, training them and making sure they are ready for their future.
Y/N: If I recall correctly, those towers are meant for each of the Big Three to use. They only allow their Nikkes in but other Nikkes that are not a part of the company aren't allowed in.
Ingrid: Correct, right now it's being used by Eunhwa. Come along, we don't have all day.
Y/N follows Ingrid to Elysion Tower, when they arrive they see Eunhwa doing attendance for the new Nikkes and shouting at them to make sure they lose all attachments to their previous lives as humans.
