Draco's POV:

I watch as Daisy bursts out of the classroom. People start snickering around the classroom about what they just saw. When she had heard her aunt scream in the memory, she had shouted out loud to run. I had been trying to release the memory the second I saw my aunt Bellatrix tackle Daisy into the creek, but I couldn't. Lupin had to come over and release her from it. That's when she disarmed him and crumbled into a panicked ball in the next row of desks. She looked like she was hyperventilating as tears formed in her eyes. She suddenly got up and sprinted from the room. Harry immediately stood up to follow but I blocked him.

"Move it Malfoy." he says in a threatening voice.

"She clearly wants space right now man. Back off." I tell him.

"He's right, Harry." Lupin says. "Leave her be. Mr. Malfoy step into my office please. Class you are dismissed once the bell rings. Continue on your spell work until then."

I follow Lupin into his office. He sits at his desk and makes a motion for me to sit across from him, so I do. "I need to know what happened Malfoy. Did you go into an area she had restricted from you?" he asks me.

My eyes fling up to his. "Excuse me?" I ask not believing what he had just asked me.

"I asked if you had broken her boundaries she had set." he replies with a fire in his eyes.

I huff out a dry laugh and stand up. "Did you maybe think she didn't restrict me from everything Lupin? I understand how my past track records look; I really do but I wouldn't do that. Even back then I wouldn't have crossed that boundary. Especially not with her! I was trying to pull to pull out of her head, but I couldn't!" I shout at him, shaking with anger that he assumed I had hurt her on purpose. He leans back into his chair in shock.

"I-My apologizes, I didn't know you felt that way about her." he says in shock.

I slowly sit back down, feeling my ears turn red. "I don't feel anyway about her" I'm lying "She's just a nice person. I wouldn't hurt someone like her." I try to explain. I look back to Lupin who is smiling smugly. I roll my eyes and shake my head right as the bell goes off.

"You're dismissed, Mr. Malfoy. Thank you." he says.

I walk out of his office and into the hallway. I make my way to my next classes which is Herbology. I won't tell anyone, but I actually love this class. As I get closer to the classroom, I see Neville Longbottom talking to Luna Lovegood. He looks up as I come closer, and he smiles at me. I give him a tight smile back. He turns away from Luna and makes his way towards me when a voice rings out.

"We aren't talking to him now Neville. He hurt Daisy." Harry had said. I looked over to the golden trio all staring at me with pure hatred. I shake my head. Maybe Pansy was right. Nobody is going to believe I changed. Bloody hell I don't even know if I actually have. I watch as third year kids come out of the classroom. I let everyone else go in first and I take the very last desk in the back. The professor is about to start when the door flings open. Everyone, me included, turns towards the doors. Daisy is breathing heavily with her hands on her knees.

"Sorry, I had to run up 5 flights of stairs." she says slowly catching her breath. "I didn't mean to disrupt you." Our professor ignores her and turns back to the board. She scans the class and sees an empty seat next to Harry. She takes a step towards him when her eyes fall onto the empty seat next to me. I turn and look into my book pretending like I have no idea she's standing there.

"Daisy!" I hear whispered from across the room. I don't look up. She clears her throat. I keep reading. She huffs out a sigh.

"Is this seat taken Draco?" she asks. I look up at her. Her eyes still red from her tears. That I caused. I look back down at my book.
