Daisy's POV:
I run at my soccer ball ready to send it soaring into the makeshift goal I've set up. Instead of connecting with ball, I slip on the thin layer of snow on the ground. I yelp as I fall straight onto my ass. I sigh. I'm in my head right now and I can't find a way out. I close my eyes trying to get myself out of my head.
"Hey stranger." I hear from above me. My eyes fly open. Draco. He's staring down at me. Oh my god. He probably saw me fall. I feel my cheeks heat with embarrassment. He reaches a hand down to me. "You're shivering. How long have you been out here?" He demands. I gingerly put my hand into his and let him pull my cold body up.
"Uh, about an hour or so?" I say guessing. "I've been kicking goals though. Not just lying in the snow." I say unnecessarily. I shake my head at myself. Draco reaches for hand and looks at me fingers. The tips of my fingers bright red.
"You're going to catch an illness. Come." he demands once again. Pulling me behind him. I try yanking my arm back but it's no use.
"Draco, the soccer balls." I complain wanting to go back and get them. If a first year gets their hands on them, I'll never see them again.
"Accio soccer balls." he says, imitating my American accent when saying soccer balls. All of them flying into the bag and the bag comes to Draco. I relax a bit until I feel my body shaking. Draco must feel it too since he turns and looks at me.
"I-I th-think I n-need a sh-sh-shower." I say between chattering teeth. I yelp as I'm suddenly being lifted up. "I-I can w-walk." I try to argue with him as we burst through the castle doors and starts heading up the stairs.
"You really can't though, flower." he grumbles quietly. I think I made him angry. His brows are furrowed and he's barking at people to get out of our way. Suddenly, we are on the floor where the Ravenclaw dorms are. Draco stands in front of the portrait to our dorm and lets me whisper the password.
"F-f-fortes m-m-m-mentes" I stutter out still shivering uncontrollably.
"Hmm, deary? I can't hear you." the lady in the portrait says. Before I can try to repeat our password, Draco scoffs.
"She said fortes mentes. Now open the bloody door." he says angrily.
"My, my, that was rude." the old lady says, while allowing the door to swing open. As Draco carries me into the dorm he starts heading to the left.
"O-other way." I whisper into his neck, using his body for warmth. I can't feel anything now. I shouldn't have stayed out there for so long. "L-l-last door at the e-e-end of the h-hall." I tell him.
"The prefect's room?" he asks, confusion laced in his tone. I nod into his neck as he somehow uses his boot to open my bedroom door. "Where's your bathroom, flower?" he asks, a weird emotion in voice that I can't quite pin. I point to the bathroom. He sets me on the counter and starts the tub as well as the shower. He lets the water run and turns back to me. "You'll need to take a shower, love. Try and get your body temperature up." I finally understand the emotion in his tone. He worried. Almost panicked. His eyes are wide and he's searching my face. I nod my head keeping my arm wrapped around my body. He nods back, "Ok, I'll be right outside if you need me." He turns and closes the bathroom door leaving a crack in case I need something. I carefully shed my leggings and workout shirt, but I can't get my fingers to unclasp my bra. I'm tempted to call Draco in here just to see how he reacts, but I figured it best to probably shower before something bad happens. I quickly get in the shower and let the hot water cascade over my body. I slowly start getting the feeling back into my fingers when I remember Draco turned the tub on. I turn and see that the water had started to overflow.
