Daisy's POV:

I see Draco close the fence's gate behind him. My mind churning over his words. I slowly look back to Megan, a friend from Ilvermony. I see Harry behind her staring at me.

"Sorry but I have to talk to my brother." I interrupt her, I have no clue what she was talking about anyways. I walk up to Harry. "I think we need to talk." I tell him. He smiles and nods, leading us into the house.

"Where's a good place to talk?" he turns, asking me. I point upstairs in the direction of my room. I open the door and sit on my bed, Harry sitting at my desk. He stares at me.

"What did he mean?" I ask barely whispering. "What did he mean by he didn't want me to lose another family member?" I ask tears filling my eyes. I look over to Harry.

"He went to Pansy to piss you off. I don't think he realized how bad it was going to hurt you. He just knew he had to do something to get you to come to me." Harry fiddles with his hands. "I had told you to pick between me and him. I don't think he liked my odds, so he made sure that you had to pick me." I stand from my bed and start slowly pacing my room.

"So, you're telling me, he went to Pansy and dated her to make sure I picked my brother over him." I say in disbelief, repeating basically every word Harry had just said. He nods. I scoff. "What happened? After I left?" I asked, scared to hear the answer.

"He didn't know you had left Hogwarts at first. The first dinner, breakfast, and lunch he sat with Pansy. Letting that pig crawl all over him." Harry shudders. "In potions, Slughorn asked about you. I knew Malfoy was in the class, so I told everyone you had left and transferred to Ilvermony. That night he stopped talking to all the other Slytherins. Actually, he pretty much stopped talking to everybody." Harry tilts his head in thought. "Luna and him studied together a lot but otherwise he tried to make himself invisible. Just like at the beginning of the year. Before you forced him into friendship." Harry jokes. I shake my head, trying to make sense of it all. "He admitted it too. I called him out on it the night we got the invitation." My jaw drops completely. I scoff.

"What an absolute" I pause trying to think of an insult.

"Wanker?" Harry supplies.

"Yes! What a fucking wanker! I don't even know what that means but he's dumb!" I shake my head again. "Why on God's green Earth would he do that?" I whisper more to myself.

"You know," Harry speaks up, "we all planned on staying for a good bit here." I look at Harry.

"Uh, yeah that's fine. We have plenty of room." I say, softly. Harry rolls his eyes.

"Bloody hell, I thought you were the smart one. Go to him! We won't be home for another 3 hours. At the earliest!" Harry says smiling.

"I-I can't go to him. He-he-he." I stutter.

"He-he-he-he" Harry imitates me, "is bloody miserable without you!"

"You've been miserable without him honey." I hear my aunt say from the doorway. She's smiling at me. "You got to go get your man. We'll hold down the fort here." I stand there shock. I have to go. I run down the stairs and out the front door, past the protection barrier. I quickly apparate and run up the hill to his house. I fling open the front door, letting it slam against the wall. I take the stairs two at a time and throw open Draco's door. He's still in his crisp, white dress shirt and black slacks. He looks too good.

"Harry! Come get Ginny, she's the in wrong room!" I cross the room as he yells. As he turns around, I slap him across the face. He looks back up to me, shock written across his face. I'm still trying to catch my breath from running.
