"You okay, baby girl?" Chris stroked the side of Alice's face gently and stared into her eyes. She nodded innocently and stared back. "Would you like me to run you a hot bath?" Chris asked. Her eyes widened slightly, she nodded with a smile on her face. Chris crawled out of bed and ran a hot bubble bath for her. Once it was full he carried her into the bathroom and placed her in the tub. He lit a few candles and put some music on. While she enjoyed her soak he brushed her hair and whispered soft things to her until she decided to get out. He brought a towel and helped her dry off, then some cute clothing that he picked out. "Let's go watch a movie, shall we?" Chris suggested. Alice nodded and giggled a bit. "Hold on, I have a few in my room." She grabbed a cd case full of movies and headed downstairs with him to the living room. Chris grabbed her a blanket to wrap up in and let her choose the movie. She decided on Mulan and they cuddled together while watching it. Alice's mother came home while they were watching and Chris quickly switched sides of the couch as to avoid suspicion. He winked at Alice from across the couch and she giggled at him. "Hey Mom!" she yelled when her mother walked through the door. She jumped off the couch and went to hug her mother. "Someone's feeling better." her mother laughed "What have you two been doing today?" Alice looked back at Chris when answering, "Oh, just watching movies. having company has made me feel a lot better." She smiled at her mom and went into the kitchen "What's for dinner?" Alice asked energetically. "I'll cook, if you want." Chris said while standing in the door way with his hands in his pockets, a little mysteriously. Alice grinned and jumped up and down energetically. "What will you make?" She asked happily. He grinned and walked to the pantry "Well only your favorite, of course." He said with a cocky attitude as he pulls out the ingredients for fettuccine Alfredo, which has been her favorite food for as long as he can remember. She grins and gets excited "Ooh yay!! Do we have any breadsticks??" She asked her mother. "No, but I could go get some of you like?" Her mother responded. Alice nodded happily. As soon as her mother walked out the door she hugged Chris tight "You're so sweet to me." He smiled and ruffled her hair, "that's because you were a good girl."
This sends butterflies through her stomach and she can't stop grinning. "I'm gonna go finish the movie while you cook, okay?" She says with a cute smile. He chuckles a bit "alright, kid." He ruffles her hair as she runs back to the sofa to finish her movie.
Not too long later, Alice's mother comes home with breadsticks and ice cream for later. They all eat dinner together and then decide to watch some horror movies together on Netflix.
After two movies, Alice falls asleep with her head in Chris's lap. When her mother notices, she tries to wake Alice, but Chris stops her. "I'll take her upstairs. No need to wake her." He gently eases out from under her and picks her up. Trying not to wake her, he takes her upstairs and puts her in the bed. "Thank you." Mrs. Tekomi says. Chris nods and heads into the guest bedroom for the night.
