12. Mission

It was officially the day they were going to enter the cloud village and seek out Chiho. They are currently in their room packing up to leave.

"Hey Obito?" Rin looked down at her bag, double checking she had everything for the mission.

"What's up?" He said calmly as he cracked his neck on each side.

Rin couldn't help but chuckle at what he did, "you know it's not safe to break your neck.." she looked at him with a 'seriously?'expression.

Obito looked at her with big eyes and a small frown. "Whhhhaaattttttt, it felt gooood." He whined like a baby.

Rin rolled her eyes, "Anyway, we should get out of here, it's almost 5am the time we are supposed to check out." Rin peaked at her watch.

Obito stared at the women in awe, he loved when she took charge of things. It made him feel like she was recuperating well. "Yes we should!" He smiled as he slapped his mask on his face. "Are ya ready!" He struck a pose as Tobi's voice echoed through the room.

Rin laughed nervously, "shhh! People are still sleeping!" She shook her head at the crazy man.

"Oh, ToBi iS sOrRy..." he sank to the floor in sorrow.

Rin blushed as the man was being extremely cute, "c-common.. we're gonna be late.." she looked away as she attached her bag on her waist.

"Tobi can't moooveeee. His bones no workkkk. Please drag Tobiiiii." He looked up at the women pleading.

Rin knelt down and whispered in his ear, "nice try~" she punched his head into the floor, "get up." She glared at him with an angry expression.

Obito laid there in pain, "ow... ok... Tobi will get up.." Obito slowly got up acting like he was an old man.

Rin sighed as she opened the room door, "if you cause anymore problems I'm gonna knock you out and leave you for the wolves."

"You wouldn't dare-" he shut up after seeing her glare. She said nothing else as she put her mask on.

When they arrived at the gates they were greeted by two big men with white hair. They moved in sync with spears pointed towards the two outsiders. "State names and business." They said in unison.

"Tobi" Obito said in his tobi voice but seriously.

"And Takiri" Rin stayed calm as she stepped forward. "We were hired by Basenji Singu to find a women named Chiho. She is a S rank criminal here, correct?" Her demeanor was sharp and mature as her voice cut through the air swiftly.

"Basenji? You're one of his hunters?" One of the men stated.

"Yes, we stumbled upon him in a different village. We wanted a job and asked him if he had any assignments. He told us about this one and we agreed to take care of it. He said if we stated we were coming on his behalf we would be let in without a fuss." She cocked her head slightly as she started pulling out a piece of paper from her back pocket. She took a few steps forward unwrapping the paper. "Here's the note from Basenji himself."

The gate keeper gently took paper it out of the women's hand and read it quietly. He then turned back to his other guard. "Call agent 24, tell him to get these guys to sector B."

"Yes sir." The other walked over to make the call.

"So, you two must be really good at what you do if he has the confidence you two will take her down. Many have tried but have never come back. It's honestly pathetic we can't catch her." He sighed. "You must be good people for wanting this job."

"It's our pleasure helping your village. It's what our organization is for." She walked closer to Obito.

"I'm assuming that's why you wear those cloaks." He asked.

"Yes it is! Akatsuki is the name!" Tobi said enthusiastically pointing his thumb up.

The man winced uncomfortably as his brow raised, but before he could speak the giant gate roared. Everyone stared at the opening gate as singular man stood in it.

"YO YO!" A young blonde haired boy with black sunglasses yelled.

Rin smirked under her mask as her and Obito walked up to the boy. Obito held out his hand and the boy started to shake it violently. "Whats up fools! Ima be your guide around our outstanding village yo! ima get yo fools set up in one of our finessstttt bounty stations! Just come with me fool ya fools!!" He finally stopped shaking obito's hand, and obtio slumped over in relief.

Rin giggled quietly, "thank you, may we know your name?" She said while walking behind him with Obito.

"I'm Bee! Killer Bee!" He put his arms above his head walking backwards. "Heard good things about yo people! Presh what you all are doing!"

"You've heard of the Akatsuki?" Tobi asked and cocked his head.

"I've seen your cloaks before! Different people, but same cloaks! They said that they were high class bounty hunters killing the most wanted and ridding them from the villages! Most people up here knows yo name!" He made a big smile as he turned around and lead the way. "Good luck with this one though..." Bee's demeanor changed as he stuffed his hands in his pockets.

"We've heard horrible things about this woman, do you know anything about her?" Rin quickened her pace and matched his speed walking side by side.

"We all have our speculations, but every time we look into it I swear she's just one step ahead. We think she works at one of the coffee shops but everyone we've background checked and everything's come back clean. We think she's the last person we would expect. Another reason why we need outsiders to help with the case, so our bias doesn't come into play ya know." He frowned.

"If no one knows who she is, with all do respect how do you know she's a women?" Rin asked calmly.

"I was on my own mission at the time when I stumbled upon a slave owner in the mist village. I recognized one of their slaves as a young boy from our village. I talked with the boy and he said a women took him named Chiho, and had light brown hair to her shoulders, but that was all I got from him before the owner pushed me away.." he sighed, "we have lost over 10 children to this women.. she needs to be stopped. If yo ever need anything there is a messenger bird room in your bounty station. Bird 41 is my messenger bird, if you need me or backup don't be scared to use him." Bee stopped in front of a big building. "We're counting on you." He shook both of their hands and disappeared.

Obito looked at rin and she looked back, they both nodded and walked inside.
