10. Notebook

I'm still getting used to this whole 'documenting my life thing' in a notebook, so if I'm bad at this I apologize. This time I will be using categories to help me organize my thoughts better than trying to freewrite.

I am Obito Uchiha currently 25, and the date is 10/14/1997

General-

It has been a few weeks since I saved Rin, and she's fitting in quite well. She's getting along with all the members (except Konan) and they respect her, which is good.
Along with that, I explained everything regarding Zetzu to Rin. Thankfully Rin took every ounce of that information and used it to her advantage. I'm very surprised by how smart  Rin is with her words and actions (Not that I thought she was dumb or anything! I just think she exceeds the average intelligence of a shinobi). She's also become a very good actor (Kinda like me with 'tobi') She's made everyone think that she was brand new to being a shinobi and has never met me before.

The only people that this lie didn't work on was Kisame and Konan. Rin and I decided it would be too dangerous to let everyone know she was a jinjuriki, so we lied to everyone else.

Now Zetzu was very skeptical about Rin at first, but Rin did such a good job at concealing her true identity and acting like a different person that Zetzu believed her. Apart from her acting like a different person she's very good with makeup and is hiding her purple birthmarks so Zetzu doesn't recognize her (Since Zetzu knew that she was my childhood friend and is still under the impression that she's still dead). We also came up with a lie so when anyone asked why she had her birthmarks before, she said her and her 'sister' were playing with face paint earlier that day and she forgot to clean them off.

Luckily, after a bit more convincing Zetzu finally believed me. We also had to give her a fake identity as 'Takiri Torrai'. A citizen of the cloud village who got taken away from her sister by Rock Nin for questioning. Me and Kisame happened to stumble upon her and saved her from the Rock Nin and brought her back here. To our surprise, everyone believed us without hesitation, and luckily Konan agreed that keeping her identity a secret was for the best (about the only thing I think we've ever agreed on).

After we got her backstory and identity done I hosted a few meetings with Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato (The leaders of the organization I joined and now run most of, but not all of) about her relationship with the Akatsuki. Konan and Yahiko (basically dating but don't admit it) gave me a thumbs up to make her a member, but Nagato was a bit more hesitant.
Since they were the main leaders of the organization I gave them all the ins and outs of her real situation. Nagato after hearing the truth was worried about the Leaf being a threat now that they had an important weapon that was stolen from them. He wasn't sure if making her an official member and putting her out in the world was a good idea. As he posed a good point I assured him that she was extremely strong and was capable of high-level bounties. Even if something were to happen he would be with her at all times, this meeting eventually led to her being declared an official member of the Akatsuki.

Changes-

Rin has been super enthusiastic about all the life changes she has been doing and in general, has really enjoyed being alive (She's cheered me up more than anything as well). I'm thrilled she's acting like her old self again, so much even I started acting like a kid sometimes.

Everyone at the Akatsuki could tell there was a massive difference in my attitude even when I was playing Tobi (I noticed Deidara stopped complaining about Tobi's attitude as well). Kisame visits Rin and me frequently and checks up on how we're doing as a whole, and in general keeps us company (He really is the best guy I've met out here).

Also, Rin and I went shopping for some new clothes. She got a cute sleeveless maroon shirt, small cut cream skirt, black shorts, tall maroon socks, black shoes, and maroon gloves with the tips cut off. I also got her a small cream colored medical bag for when we go out on missions. I think her new look is very cute and fits her perfectly.
