G I U L I A

After James got a call from Mrs. Carmen about the results, we walked back to my apartment. The sun had cast a dim glow over the neighborhood as we approached the building. "You nervous?" He asked me as we walked up the stairs.

"A little, but I don't think it could be worse than my mother dying." I muttered the last part a little to myself. Of course, he heard it but I appreciated that he pretended he didn't.

I don't know why but there's too much happening right now for me to actually comprehend that my mother's dead.

It's like my brain won't accept it or believe it. It's not that I have trust issues or anything but I guess It's too unbelievable if that makes sense.

We opened the door to be met with even more random people in my apartment investigating. I'm feeling uncomfortable in my own home.

As soon as we entered, another officer came to James and pulled him outside saying that he found something.

I was left alone in the living room, staring at the multiple people bustling in and out of my home. I feel uncomfortable in my own freaking home. Just as I was about to go to my room to see if everything was still the same, I spotted Mrs. Carmen motioning for me to come.

"Giulia, come darling, I have your results." Mrs. Carmen waved me over from across the living room.

I walked over to her, each step I took caused more uneasiness in my body.

"Giulia, are you sure you have no other family? Because your results show otherwise." Mrs. Carmen sat down on the dining chair and typed on her laptop.

"That's what I was told. Why? What did you find?" I took a seat next to her. "Well if I'm being honest with you, your test showed a quite interesting and surprising result." She murmured.

She got up from the seat and rounded the table to get the folders, full of what I think are, documents. She walked over to me and sat back down. "Do you recognize these men?" She opened the folders to reveal 5 papers with pictures of men. I looked through them but I didn't recognize—Wait

Those three men. I saw them at the beach that one day and I still vividly remember them. The dirty blond and the brunette, they're twins, which was why they were identical.

The other man, the older one was also pictured. Ace.
