BIGHIT building

I entered wearing a face mask and decent clothes. This humongous building could put anyone to shame. It spoke for its name.

As soon as I entered the aura of this place hit me.
I could see the life inside this building being so fast. Employees didn't bat an eye to another, engrossed in work and silencer .. I analysed the atmosphere.

I finally reached the front desk bowing at the lady there.

"Good morning, how may I help you?" She politely asked and I my hands shook in nervousness

"G...good..good morning. I'm Y/n, I was called by the head" I bowed
I could see the change of expressions on her face when she heard my name. I grew more nervous.

She then dialled a few numbers and smiled at me giving me directions to the head.

...

I now stepped out of the elevator, 5th floor.
I walked straight. All I could see was expensive ambience and luxury.

I halted when I saw a man sitting at the desk just outside the room which read "Big Hit - Head"
He bowed at me standing up

"Yes how may I help" he asked
"I... I'm Y/n, i... I.. was asked by the Head" I stuttered when he got up and went inside

Next minute he came outside
"You mate go inside Miss" he ushered me and I made my way inside the room.

The strong smell of lemon and lavender hit me as I took in the look of the whole room.
The beautiful couch, the plants, and then the man I really never wanted to ever see again.

The same man who had slapped me, and tried to break me... and eventually did.
He sat looking onto his desk full of papers
"Oh you're here.. come sit" he smiled at me and I gulped down.

I walked and took a seat wanting to disappear.
I could see his fake smile...
"Tell me what are you good at? What have you done before.. other than attempting a murder"
He said and my eye went wide. My eyes were filled with tears as I looked at him and he then chuckled

"Oops I'm sorry alright! On a serious note.. tell me what are you good at?"
"F...Fashion designing.. I..I've done fashion designing" I stuttered not wanting to look at his face

"I can't hand you to the fashion department, that's kinda a very already thought and planned area. We have brands under our boys name.
I'd be putting you under the category of an personal manager, more like a secretary"
He said and I looked at him confused

He was smiling at me, looking at me with curious hopeful? Eyes.. something I couldn't decipher.
This was a completely Different man which I had met earlier. That man lunged at me. While this was the calm one, not really bothered by things.

"I am at work Y/n, and when I'm working there's nothing I won't do to get things done. If it requires me to smile and talk nice I would do it. I am a man who prioritises his work. Having you here sitting infront of me and giving you a role in this building doesn't really mean I'm alright with whatever stunts you've pulled before. If I could I would do it all over again because in my eyes you're still a criminal until proven innocent. I am here to get things done since it's not only me running this company. The board has decided to give you a job, since there haven't been any evidences of your crime, and I sit here following the rules. You would be working as a personal manager of Mr. Jeon. His last manager quit a week ago and instead of getting any unknown to this place, I'd rather have you to do that. You'd be under tha law, all eyes would be on you. One wrong move is all I am waiting for .. and you'd be behind the bars. The right place"

He said and I just looked at him as a tear slipped my eye.

I quickly wiped it off not speaking a work. I was enraged, angry, frustrated!

But this was my work place. If he can leave his grudge behind and make a deal with me here I can do that too

"Currently the boys are in practice, you'd be getting to meet Mr. Jeon in an hour. So in their meantime you collect your id and important documents from the second floor. today marks as your first day. And no funny business Miss. y/n"
He looked into my eyes while I just nodded without uttering a word

I left his room with so much emotions building inside my throat as I just crouched down on the floor crying.

I was thankful there wasn't anyone here right now.
