Chapter 25

Jin sat in Jungkook's bedroom
"Y/n looked fuckinh gorgeous today" he commented noticing Jungkook's expression to which jungkook who was busy with his phone stared at the elder

"Don't tell me you got a thing for her" jungkook rolled his eyes
"Not me but looks like Yoongi might shoot his shot with her" Jin casually took the beer and Jungkook was now wide awake,

"Yoongi Hyung? Are you serious?" Jungkook shook his head
"He dropped her home just now, I mean they do look nice together.. and as I can see. I guess y/n's got a crush on him too"
Jin continued

"She's gonna be lucky even if a fucking rock displays interest in her" jungkook scoffed and Jin chuckled
"You're the most dense and ignorant ass I've ever seen, Y/n is a great catch and if your hateful ass cant see it doesn't mean the boys around her feel the same. Like fuck she's beautiful and she doesn't have to fit your kind of unrealistic standards!" Jin just finished his beer... leaving a very guilty, overthinking jungkook.

It wasn't very new to jungkook to realise that Y/n somehow did catch a lot of attention, and that made him feel an uneasiness.. not that he was concerned but he wanted his life out of her drama

Y/n had a tough time dealing with a very whiny, arrogant and glaring Jungkook the entire week.

All she heard were remarks like
"You're really aiming for the stars you ugly?"
He taunted when Yoongi had waved at her

"You don't actually need a lunch break...with that body..."

He was cut with a very serious tone
"With a body like what Jungkook? Like shut up! Please just stop! What have I even done to you? I'm really not appropriate for this job! It's already so tough for me to figure out this job! I'm a fashion designer for gods sake! I can't even use my degree just because on that terrible day I decided to fuckinh jump to protect the idol I admired! I am sorry you have to see my ugly face every day Jungkook and I really feel the worse for you, but trust me I cannot help it! I never wanted to be here in the first place! And now I am not even concerned about you going and complaining about me. This place doesn't do better than that prison, except I wasnt given proper clothes to wear, otherwise the remarks and pity was the same!" She had her hands in fists and her face was in tears,

It was too much for her, she grabbed the files and her lunch

"I really wish you complain Mr. Jeon, because I certainly cannot give my resignation according to the rules.. it'll be better for me to beg on the roads than sit here and have you degrade me in all means possible" she left wiping her face leaving a very apologetic and guilty Jungkook

It was the first time ever jungkook wanted to take his words back
The sight of her angry face, her tears and her comments made him realise that he had crossed the line .... Again...

The entire night he couldn't sleep, all he could think of was her tears and words..

He isn't this kind of a person

He was better than this
He should wait for Tae to come, in a few weeks he'd be here..

Jungkook refrained from texting Y/n the next morning as he drove towards the building

She wouldn't come today

He was too sure,

With slugged shoulders jungkook entered the rehearsal hall
"Good morning Jungkookie" jimin came hugging the younger
"Morning Hyung" jungkook wasn't as fresh as usual

He sat with Hobi and Jin as jimin made them head his melody for the next song, but his mind just wasn't focused on it.
He kept thinking how should he make Y/n come back .. should he apologise? Or should he let her be? Should he be going to her Place? Get her best friend's number?

His trances were broken when he heard the door open
"Good morning , I'm sorry I got stuck with the coffee Machine"
And jungkook swore he broke his neck turning his face at that voice

There stood Y/n in her usual loose fitted clothes, her little bag hanging across her body and a coffee mug in her hand

Jungkook felt like crying when he saw her standing just a few inches from him

He felt someone tapping his shoulder only ri find jimin ushering him to answer Y/n
"Y..yeah, good morning.. thank you for this"
Jungkook got up taking the mug from her

And every other head in the room now stared at the youngest
Did he just thank Y/n????

Y/n didn't react much, she bowed walking towards the corner taking the iPad out of charging
"Sir I'll be in the studio, I need to make a few calls, kindly call me if you need anything" she spoke looking at the ground and Jungkook nodded
"Y..yeah"

Jin and Namjoon exchanged some looks as they took in the change in Jungkook's attitude while Yoongi just smiled

"Okay guys, we should be rehearsing the routine..we have an award ceremony coming up!" Hobi was the first one to break the silence

Y/n silently worked making a few calls, getting some emails, when the door of the studio opened and she looked only to find Jungkook peeking

"U...umm... Y...y/n... w.. would you have coffee? I...I accidentally got two" he said now coming inside and placing the cup on her desk

Y/n was shocked and surprised
Would be an understatement but she masked her expressions as she got up nodding
"T...thank you sir" she bowed

Jungkook just awkwardly stood with his hands in the pocket looking around figuring out what more should he talk about

"Sir we have a recording with Miss. Yojeen in the evening, she'd be coming around 5, I'll let you know when she does" she informed and he nodded leaving her to do her work

"Tough? Was it?"
Jin crossed his arms now looking at jungkook who just stepped out of the studio
"I'm proud of you, be a bit easy on her. Okay?"

Jungkook just nodded carrying on
