Y/n was shocked would be an understatement..
She was sitting in a clinic.. her shirt opened up , with a female doctor checking on the burnt area.

"Hmm.. I'd give you some ointments, you better apply them 3 times a day for 5 days. It's gonna get better. Make sure you wear some loose clothes and let the skin breathe.." the doctor suggested as Y/n just nodded..

She walked outside and found Jungkook sitting with his head in a beanie and a mask almost covering his entire face..
"You got checked?" He asked and she just nodded
"Did you get your wound checked?"
And Y/n stood silent..
jungkook understood she didn't get fully checked
Before y/n could understand and talk to him Jungkook was already holding her hand and dragging her inside

"Umm.. Dr. Yoini, umm.. there's another thing we wanted to get checked. There's a wound on her abdomen, kindly look at it.. and give medications"
Y/n looked at him wide eyed
"S..sir" she whispered but was soon pulled away by a nurse who made her lay there

"You'd like to stay?.." the nurse turned towards Jungkook
"Well, you should stay.. it's good atleast you'll know what precautions are to be taken" she interrupted without even letting jungkook answer ..

He sat looking here and there as the Doctor looked onto her wound
"Hmm.. it was infected before right?.. I'll give you medications for 3 days, and you have to avoid carrying heavy stuff"

Y/n could only nod.. but jungkook heard and noted everything

On their way back it was Jungkook driving with Y/n on the passenger seat..
"H..here.. they're your medicines.. take them on time.. and.. as the doctor said.. follow it"
He said without looking at her.

Jungkook stopped infront of her apartment building and Y/n looked his way
"T..thank you sir. I..Im sorry for causing you so much trouble and letting all this affect the work I do. I promise whatever it is, your work and things wouldn't be hampered. I'll make sure. Thank you.. good night"
She got down and left while jungkook closed his eyes breathing heavy..

What was happening to him
He sighed realising how he actually was caring for his assistant
"I'm doing what Jin hyung wants me to"

Y/n had taken care of herself given the fact that yoongi was always observant about how she was taking care of herself.
Jin and Namjoon had been good elders as they usually made sure Y/n was being invited to their lunch breaks and didn't drown herself in the work Jungkook gave..

Jungkook didn't change his attitude as whole, but Y/n was glad he didn't shout or insulted her often..

"I'm so happy Taehyung would be joining us tomorrow"
Y/n's ears perked as she was busy patting Jungkook's shoulders while he sat infront of the mirror getting his makeup done

Jungkook opens his eyes staring through the mirror, first at Namjoon who announced and then studying Y/n's features..
"S..sir" he took the coffee she offered

While the boys sat for another photo shoot, Yoongi came towards Y/n who was busy emailing and shaking her leg throughout
"Are you nervous?"

"..n...no.. I'm okay" she looked at Yoongi who came and settled besides her
"W...water"
She forwarded the bottle to him
"Everyone would know the truth tomorrow right? Doesn't that make you happy?" Yoongi asked and Y/n's expressions fell from her face..
"What's the point?" She whispered

"What?"
"I mean.. I've went through hell these 3 months, it's been the worst ever things that happened to me.. what good can his statement bring? Just the fact I'd be released from this company? But what actually would i do? Everything I had .. was destroyed. Even my mental peace. But I'm just glad I'll not be hearing "pathetic bitvch" from people again"
She faked a smile

Yoongi was speechless..

She got up as she was called by the other staff ..
Reality hitting Yoongi when he realised Y/n might stop working with them, with Jungkook after tae comes.. and he would actually miss her presence..
she was a sweet person.. caring... and very patient..
he was actually starting to like her ... maybe ...romantically..

Y/n woke up the next day..
her alarm going off as she went for a shower

"Are you happy?" Sehun asked her walking towards his best friend and holding her hands

She just nodded looking at their hands bringing them to her cheeks
"I..I am scared"
She admitted

"It's okay baby, you're innocent, we know it. He knows it.. just go.. and keep me informed okay?" He kissed her head as they both left for work..

"You've got a meeting today sir" Y/n looked up from the papers towards jungkook who was doing some push-ups..

"What time?" He breathed heavy
"2 in the noon"
"But tae hyung is coming around 3, I don't wanna miss it" he almost complained
"The meeting would take hardly 30-35 mins.. you'll still have time to welcome Mr. Kim"
"We'll be going to his place.."
Jungkook said now sitting catching his breath
And she just nodded

Maybe he'll be here tomorrow..
maybe she'll meet him tomorrow..

Sitting in the conference hall with some brand directors, she was constantly restless..
Her legs were shaking.. she had drank too much of water. And was continuously biting her lips

Jungkook on the other hand noticed her nervousness

"Are you nervous he will tell the truth to all of us that you're the actual culprit?" He smirked and she just looked down at her lap breathing deep

As the meeting came to an end, her hands were already sweaty.

"I and Yoongi are leaving for Tae's place, jimin went already" Namjoon came holding his bag as he met both Y/n and Jungkook down the corridor
"We'll leave in a few minutes too" jungkook smiled and Namjoon nodded

Y/n looked at Jungkook wide eyed,
"We?"
She asked
"Of course, you're my assistant.. you're gonna accompany me" he said and walked ahead leaving Y/n overthinking.
