Chapter 2

Melody Reinhart POV/;

Later on everyone left and went back home except for Riley of course she lives here along with my aunt Liza and aunt Selena but their currently on vacation so it's usually just me, Riley, my mom, and my mama when their not out on pack official business something I'm not looking forward to having to do when I end up inheriting the pack.

Sucks to be the only heir.

Just as I was in my room painting with my headphones in like I always did someone walked into my room scaring the shit out of me but I relaxed when I saw that it was just my mama.

Note: ( This could get confusing so "Mom"= Skyler and "Mama"= Kate, "Moms" refers to both of them )

"Mel" said my mama Kate I looked up and sighed seeing the pissed off look on her face and automatically knew she was angry with me. "Yes?" I answered taking my headphones off, "Why was I just told that you skipped training this weekend?" Asked my mama I huffed and set down my paint brushes silently cursing myself. Shit, I completely forgot about my training with the instructor.

Kevin was the packs instructor and he handled all the training for the pack wolves but mine was Separate.

Ugh! how could I have forgotten about that?!, now I'm definitely caught for sneaking out there's no way I would've missed training if I was home considering it literally takes place in my backyard and if I'm not up on time he comes to wake me. He must've did that when I was over Delia's and seen that I wasn't there then reported it to my parents.

I sighed "Mama I-" I said but she cut me off raising up an hand. "Seriously Mel!?, you keep staying out past curfew and ended up grounded, Now you're sneaking out?!" She said heated.

"You Act As If Your Allergic To Rules!" She shouted in frustration.

"Well maybe if you didn't make up so many I wouldn't act like this" I mumbled under my breath before getting up from the stool I was sitting on and walking over to my bed. "What Was That Melody Melissa Rienhart?" She said using my full name.

Shit, here it comes.

"Well since You don't like my current rules here's a new one for you, you are no longer allowed to go out, after school you are to come straight home how's that for a rule" she said before storming out of my room pissed.

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm on my phone going off. I immediately went to the bathroom to shower and get dressed for the day.

Once I did my morning routine and fixed my hair I made my way downstairs after grabbing my book bag only to see my mama cooking breakfast and my mom Skyler at the counter looking at something on her laptop. My mom noticed me and smiled "Good morning Mel Mel" she said I rolled my eyes at the childish nickname.

"Why must you keep calling me that" I said with a sigh.

"Because I have since you were little and I don't plan on stopping now" she said with a chuckle. Just then my mama turned around and the room went silent as we looked at each other momentarily before she turned away from me.

Yup she was definitely still pissed but so was I.

I was grounded for two weeks because I stayed out past curfew and now she's saying I'm not allowed out at all anymore......it's ridiculous.
