Chapter 11

Aaliyah Fangwood POV/;
The next morning.

I woke up to the sound of birds singing and the sunlight shining on me, I pushed myself up in a sitting position before looking around, my head was killing me and everything was blurry. I covered my eyes from the sun light hoping that it will help me recover my vision, after a moment my vision got clearer and I was able to see.

I looked around the room and realized that I was not at home.

Fear instantly washed over me, I couldn't remember anything and I don't recognize where I am, have I been kidnapped??!?.

Just then I felt something shift beside me and a pair of arms hug my waist, I screamed and jumped up but ended up falling to the floor with a loud bang. "Goddess what the hell?!" Said a raspy voice I looked up at the bed to see my mate melody looking down at me, the covers were falling down off of her revealing that she was naked.

I averted my eyes but soon realized that I was naked as well.

"You" I said in an angry tone "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME YOU PERVERT!!?!" I yelled as I coved myself what my hands.

"Ok wait-" she said but I cut her off "WHY AM I NAKED!, YOU DID SOMETHING TO ME DIDN'T YOU" I shouted she looked shocked for a moment then her facial expression changed to annoyed and offended. I watched as she stood up apparently she wasn't completely naked because she was wearing underwear and a bra.

Just then a shirt and some pants hit my face hard, I looked down to see that she had thrown some clothes at me.

"For your information you idiot I changed you because you threw up on your clothes then through the night you threw up again and I was way to tired to find you something else to wear so I just stripped you naked and let you sleep like that" she explained.

I pulled on the shirt and shook my head "I don't believe you" I said.

"What reason do I have to lie?, you can go take a look at the puke soaked clothes on my bathroom floor if you'd like" she said.

I just stared at her still guarded and glaring. She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose before speaking again. "Really?, this is the thanks I get after saving your ass from being drugged and taken advantage of" she said "You were probably the one who did it" I said without thinking.

Her eyes shot up to mine she stared at me for a moment before stomping over to the door.

"Get Out" she said "What?" I replied "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE" she yelled.

I was shocked as I sat there.

"I'm a lot of things but a rapist isn't one of them, the next time some guy decides to try and fuck you on a dirty mattress while your barely conscious don't expect me to come to your rescue again" she growled.

"I-" I said speechless.

She walked over to me and crouched down to my level before looking me in the eyes. "Leave Now" she growled again.

I balled my fist before glaring up at her "Gladly" I said before standing up and pulling up the Pants she gave me. "Where are my shoes?" I asked she rolled her eyes and pointed to the other side of her bed.

I scoffed and walked over grabbing them and pulling them on quickly. Once they were on I walked out of the door and melody followed me all the way to the front door. I opened the door then made my way outside but stopped as I looked around at all of the trees across from the house and everything else surrounding it.

I patted my pockets and realized my phone was gone and I have no way to call my driver. On top of that I have no idea where I am.

"Why are you just standing there" asked melody, I turned around to see her leaning up against her door frame with her arms folded across barely visible chest.

I glared at her "My phone is gone and I don't know where I am" I snapped.

She sighed before disappearing off in the house, I looked down she really doesn't care for me huh. I sighed and turned around before starting to walk but was stopped when I heard the front door of her house shut as she walked out.

"Let's go, I want to get you the hell away from me as soon as possible" she said walking over to a car before opening the passenger door and looking up at me.

I stood there surprised at her actions "Well are you going to get in or would you rather walk?" She asked.

I looked at the long road ahead then back at her.

We both sat in the car in silence as she drove me to the address I gave her. Being in the same car as her is like torture, I heard a lot about mate bonds and how they make you want each other more then usual but this was intense I really wanted to plant my face in the crook of her neck and take in her sweet scent but I knew I shouldn't.

I looked away from her trying to control my urges, she doesn't want me as her mate she said it herself.

I can't force someone to like me.

The ride to my house felt longer than usual, as I was looking around trying to avoid looking at melody my eyes landed on a symbol on the dashboard of the car. I reached out in traced my fingers over it, this looks familiar like I've seen it before. It was small but noticeable yet I couldn't make out what it was.

"What is this" I whispered to myself out loud.

"It's the symbol of my lineage....or so I've been told, my mother decided to have in engraved in my car when she gave it to me" she said.

I looked over at her surprised I did not expect for her to answer my question or to even respond to me at all. I decided to try and keep the conversation going, maybe there's hope.

"Your lineage?" I repeated in a confused tone of voice. She sighed "Every past Alpha of my pack had been kin to the moon goddess, I'm not sure where it originated but they say it's been past down in our family for generations from parents to child" she explained but now I was even more curious.

"What does it mean?" I asked "It means Lunaris Kinthra, (Guiding stars) which means when In doubt and the moon shines upon you look to the stars and they will guide you" she said.

I glanced up at her only to see that she was staring at me as well. Our eyes met and her gaze lingered on me.

It was silent and my heart was doing laps in my chest. She makes me feel this way with just a look, mate bonds really are as strong as they say in the books I've read. "I-it's beautiful" I said her eyes stared into mine that's was until the light turned green and she looked away before focusing on the road.

I let out breath that I wasn't aware that I was even holding as I gazed out of the window.

She doesn't seem like a bad person and now I feel compelled to apologize for accusing her of being one.

"Hey I um- I'm sorry" I said. "For what?" She replied.

"You know this morning" I said she clicked her tongue "Got to be more specific then that princess" she said, I shivered at the sound of her using my title when most people call me princess it's in a mocking manner they don't believe that Verithas which in my native language means In legitimate child, should be given the title of prince or princess.

"I'm sorry for accusing you of hurting me" I said it was silent then I heard her let out a sigh.

"A little piece of advice do not take drinks from strangers at parties and stick with your friends next time it's safer for you that way" she said.

"Noted" I said feeling like and idiot.
