Anna POV

Why does Nosaka Yuma keep following me everywhere? And to make things worse, our rooms are completely opposite to each other. Ugh!

I have an appointment with Dr. Henry today at the hospital instead of him coming home. He mentioned that there are some tests he wants to conduct because the strokes have been increasing.

The real question is, how do I slip away without anyone noticing? I don't like people feeling sorry for me because I know I can handle all of this. I've been in worse situations before, and I hate how people suddenly change the way they treat you. It could be a disadvantage or a weakness.

I got dressed in a casual outfit and informed my driver that I have a doctor's appointment. As I was heading towards the door, Nosaka was in front of me, looking like he had been running.

I put on a cold face and asked, "May I help you with something?"

Nosaka: stammered, "I, um, can I join you? I heard you have a doctor's appointment and I want to come along in case you get tired or something."

Anna: "No, you can't. This is a private matter, and I have people who work for me in case I get tired. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get going."

With that, I ignored him and continued on my way.

At the hospital, I underwent various tests, including an x-ray, so Dr. Henry could determine what was causing the frequent strokes.

After all the tests were completed and the results came in...

Dr. Henry: Ms. Anna, I have some bad news.

Anna: (panicked) What is it, Dr.?

Dr. Henry: Don't worry, Ms. Anna, it's not that bad. But if you don't listen to my instructions, things are going to get seriously bad.

Anna: Uh, yes, continue.

Dr. Henry: It seems like your nightmares and seizures have increased because you are seeing a lot of what you fear or remembering the trauma that happened 10 years ago. This may be good, as you may grow a resistance to this and may not need medications anymore. But if you keep taking the dosage you are taking now, you may never be able to walk again. I understand it may be difficult to stop it when you are not in your right mind during these stroks, so I am prescribing another medication with a lower effect. Each month, we will decrease the dosage.

Anna: I see, Dr. Thanks for everything. Please don't inform Bernard about this.

Dr. Henry: As you wish.

As Anna left the doctor's office, she panicked at what was happening because the situation was getting out of hand. The problem was that she had no one to talk to about it. While taking a walk in the park and thinking things over, Nosaka Yuma appeared in front of her.

Nosaka: Anna, are you okay? I saw you leave the hospital. Are you sick?

At that moment, I don't know why I started tearing up.

Nosaka: Anna, talk to me. Are you okay? (saying this while placing his hands on her shoulders)

I couldn't open my mouth to say a word, but the tears kept flowing. Nosaka kept talking, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. Even though I tried to hate him, I can't. I feel safe when I am with him.

Suddenly, I felt like I was moving. Nosaka was guiding me to

Suddenly, I felt like I was being dragged by Nosaka to a nearby chair, and then he disappeared. Oh well, he left just like everybody else. Wait, he's back! He came back with ice cream.
