Blinking awake Five groaned out as he immediately felt a throbbing pain in his head, a reminder to him of the amount of alcohol he'd drank the night before.
Giving a mental reminder to himself that his new body? Old body? Couldn't take in and handle as much as he used to.
Glancing around the room as he forced his eyes to open Five looked around the unfamiliar area as he turned his head to the side, blonde hair now taking up his entire sight as he moved his head to look down.
He was met with a blonde mess on his shoulder and an arm wrapped around his, it taking a minute for his mind to catch up with his eyes as he realized it was Angelica cuddled up to him.
Looking her over he couldn't see her face from the mess of her blonde hair covering it, his eyes zeroing in on the awkward position her cuffed hand was in and past it he could see the rough red line it left around her wrist.
Fiddling with the key in his hands Five impulsively brought it down as he slotted it into the lock of the cuffs, unlocking them from around his and Angelica's wrists.
Throwing the cuffs then off to the side along with the key as he took her wrist into his hands, smoothing his thumb over the irritated red skin left from the cuffs, before even thinking about it Five had already lent down as he left a chaste kiss over her wrist, catching himself as soon as he done it as he sat back up.
He watched her with wide eyes from his actions as he held his breath waiting for her to say something snarky back to him, though Angelica said nothing in return as her body seemed to unconsciously snuggle closer into his side.
Staring down at her Five had come to realize he couldn't make her stay with him if she doesn't want to, no matter how scared he was of her leaving him as he'd grown stretched to her in the few days he'd known her, getting hooked on her carefree spirit.
He knew that what he was feeling was unlike anything he'd ever felt before and forcing her to be in his insufferable present wouldn't make her love him, he'd just have to trust her.
However what Five didn't know was that Angelica was actually awake, waking up as he took the cuffs on and feeling the light brush of his lips on her wrist as he gave it a gentle kiss, choosing to pretend to be asleep not wanting to disrupt the peace with her annoying attitude.
The peace was however disrupted anyways by Luther coming back in as he thundered down the steps as he approached the bed the two were laid on.
"Good, your awake", he loudly cheered as he held up the bottles of water in his hand.
"Shut up you Ape, she's still asleep", Five lowly reprimanded him in a whisper, not wanting to be the one to wake her.
