"Do you want me to come over?" Simon asks over the phone. I run a hand over my face and sigh.
"You know, I think I might just... I don't know, cancel the party or something." I say.

After the incident this morning, I haven't felt up to anything today. My whole 'Mate' party hadn't sounded good to me in the first place, but seeing Thomas this morning mixed up way to many emotions.

After everything he had done to this family, it's hard to believe that mom and dad even let him in the house.

"Bella? Bella I'm coming over."

I had called Simon after I went to my room. I needed to talk to somebody, and Simon is the only one I can seem to trust nowadays.

"Yeah. Okay Simon. I'll see you soon then."
"See you soon then."
And he hung up.

I place my phone on my nightstand and throw myself into my bed, making me bounce a few times. Laying face first into the pillow, I scream.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

I sit up in bed and look around my room. Nothing.

Looking at my window, i Notice something shining on it. Like the sun was hitting that spot on the window stronger than the others. It sparkles on the bottom left corner.

I make way way to it and hold out a hand to the glass.

A crack. There is a crack in the glass. On the bottom left corner. I kneel down next to my windowsill to examine it closer. The crack is about the size of a dime. Small but large at the same time. I lean even closer.

Is that what I think it is?

I place my index finger on it and gasp. That's cant be right. I remove my finger and place it there again. It's only slightly bigger than my finger.

I manage to pull myself away from the window in one quick motion, stumbling a little.

I don't know why, but something made me look towards the woods behind my house. It was almost like I needed to. But what I saw wasn't what I had expected. The white hair and blue eyes brought back memories I didn't want to remember. Memories I wanted to forget.

I take a slight step closer, scared that he might see me. But I was stupid. I knew he could see me. Cause the whole time, he was smiling that same devious smile he had before.

Tapping at the door startles me back to reality. I look at it for less than a second before turning back to the woods, but he's gone. With no proof he was ever there.

Except for the crack in my window.

"Arabella. Simons is here to speak to you dear!" My mother shouts from downstairs.
I look at myself one last time in the mirror. Wearing a black lace, three inches above the knee, spaghetti strap dress. Matching black heels, and my hair in a messy bun with curls on the side, I finally decide I'm ready.

Tap. Tap.

I jump and look over at my window, cowering back from it. When my door opens, revealing a suited Simon, I sigh in relief and smile lightly.

Simons eyes trace my every curve, looking me up and down. I blush at his gesture and look down tucking a curl behind my ear.

"Wow." Simon breaths, walking closer to me. He stops when he is in front of me and our breaths mingle in the air.
"You look..." He trails off.
"Ridiculous?" I answer for him.
Simons face gets slightly red and he clears is throat.
"Unbelievable." And I can see something swirling in his eyes. I can almost tell what it is-

"Bellaaaa~" my name gets dragged out seductively, by none other than...
