Simon stood in front of me, but I could tell it wasn't him anymore. His eyes weren't playful and caring. No. They were cold and hateful. Holding my head up high, I walked past him, nudging his shoulder hard enough to make him stumble back. Smirking to myself, I went to walk back towards the door. Simons hand shot out and grabbed a hold of my arm. The grip so strong it was painful. I hissed out a cry and tried to pull away.
"Let. Go." I said between clenched teeth. He released me and dusted his hands off on his shirt, acting as if he was either wiping something off of his shirt, or had just touched something gross. Glaring at him strongly, I turned on my heel and walked out.I swear if that cabbage patch kid doesn't leave me alone, I'm going to break his skull. My wolf said into my mind. For once, I agreed with her destructive side. I wanted to hurt him with everything I had in me.
When I was younger, my parents had me and Thomas go to this martial arts class. Mom said she didn't want us to get hurt, but I refused until my father told me that I would be cooler than any of the other girls at school. I immediately agreed. And boy was I glad because that meant that I could kick his ass in human form, and wolf form.
I pushed the heavy doors open, making them smack the walls, then the slowly closed behind me. The sun was just starting to really warm things up. Blocking the sun from my eyes with my hand, I looked across the street from where I was standing. There were a couple gift stores and an old furniture store that surprised me every year. Why? Somehow, it still manages to stay open, even without any customers. On the far left, the last shop from what I could see was going to be a café of some sort. There were a few round tables with umbrellas attached to them sitting outside of the doors and a truck parked in front of the small building. Deciding to take a closer look, I began to walk towards the truck. When I crossed the street, I didn't see anyone in the truck. They're probably unpacking inside. I thought. Walking around the truck, I stopped in front of it to see the license plate. The sun was reflecting light off of it brightly and it caught my eye. Looking at it, I saw it read 'Frappé'. Hmm. Good choice. I started to walk again and went over to one of the tables. They were large in diameter and tall enough for some pretty bi chairs. Reaching out to touch the top of the table I stuck my hand out and stepped closer.
"Hey!" Someone shouted, making me turn towards the direction of the door. A stubby, older man came jogging towards me with a bandana wrapped around his head. His tank top was slightly big on him and the arm holes were huge, showing a lot of his armpit. His basket ball shorts kept falling down as he 'ran' towards me.
"I was just-"
"I know what you were doing. You teenagers like to steel things. Well you know what! I won't take it. Not here." He pointed to the ground and if allowed his finger, then slowly made my way to his face. Raising a brow, I smirked.
"I just wanted to feel it. It looks nice and I was wondering what it felt like." Wow. That doesn't down creepy Bella. Bravo. I mentally pushed my inner thoughts away and shook my head. The man crossed his arms over his beer belly, making a clear view of his long armpit hair. Trying to find anything to do but talk to this man, I pointed behind me.
"I'm just gonna go." He nodded and watched me turn before he too walked back inside. Gosh is nobody in this town normal? I thought as I headed back to my car. I was surprised nobody was here at this hour. It was only 12 and it seemed like a ghost town. Unlocking my car door, I got in and closed the door, starting it up and heading back home. Hopefully everyone is gone by now.----
I was home in ten minutes tops. Getting out, I locked the doors and started towards the door when I saw something in the woods next to my house.
The greens of the trees and bushes were dark, making the deeper parts of the woods look black. I scanned over the area and it all look normal. The only thing that looked out of the blue was a brighter shade of green barely sticking out of the bushes. Deciding it was a leaf or something, I shrugged it off and continued walking inside. When I opened the door, Thomas was passed out on the couch, snoring away. Slamming the door closed, all he did was twitch. Unbelievable. I kept my shoes on for warmth and placed my keys on the side table. Walking through the living room and into the kitchen, noticing it wasn't a mess like I had prepared myself for. Instead, it was so clean, the table was shining. Weird. I opened the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water.Heading back upstairs, I plopped down on my bed, closing my eyes. I wish today would just be over already.
Hearing a knock on my door, I mumbled a 'come in'. I heard the door open and then close in the presence of another person. Thinking it was Thomas, I kept my eyes closed.
"I wish the hell you wouldn't of thrown a party at 6 in the morning." I groaned, flipping I over on my stomach. When he didn't respond, I kept on ranting.
"I mean, if you really want to show you're worthy of trust, then you are going to start acting like the adult you are." I took a deep breath and kept going. "You know that I like to sleep in and I looks terrible in the mornings. I mean, talk about morning breath." I scrunched up my nose in disgust and sighed. "Just, promise you'll start being more responsible and throw less party's."
"Yes ma'am." I husky voice answered for the first time. My eyes widened and I shot up out of bed, patting down my hair in the process. I wasn't expecting him o be here right now. Or ever in that case. I thought I would just 'see him around'. AKA never again.
"Arrow!" I exclaimed, smiling my best fake smile. "What are you doing here?"
He shrugged and moved over to my bed, making himself comfortable by stacking pillows behind his head. At least he had the decency to keep his shoes off. "Wanted to make sure we're okay. You seemed a little shaken up last night, I was wondering how you feel." He closed his eyes and leaned his head back. Shaking my head, I took a seat at the edge of my bed.
"I feel fine, thanks." He just grunted a response and laid there, unmoving. Feeling awkward in the situation, I got up and went over to my vanity, taking a seat on the stool and turning towards the mirror. I guess I should have felt uncomfortable with a guy I barely knew laying on my bed, half asleep. But I didn't. For some, strange reason, it felt natural. I began to brush and braid my hair, pulling it to the side. I then applied some foundation and mascara before adding a little bit of blush to put some color on my tired face. I wasn't planning on going anywhere, but with my life, you never knew. Already being dressed, I walked over to my window and opened it, making the sun shine brighter in my room.
"Guhhh, turn it offff." Arrow groaned, placed a pillow over his face. When I didn't close the window, he started to whine again. "Turn it offfff!"
"I'm sorry princess, if I can't 'turn off' the sun!" I threw my hands up in the air and rolled my eyes. Arrow sat up and threw the pillow at me.
"Don't ever call me princess." He scrunched up his nose with disgust and I laughed, throwing my head back. He glared at me.
"It's not funny. I'm a grown man." He stood and puffed out his chest, making his abs stretch through the shirt. I couldn't control my laughter and soon it began to hurt my sides. I gripped below my rib and held out my other hand in front of me.
"No. No you're absolutely right..." I placed my fingers over my lips to keep them closed, but I swear they had a mind of there own. "...princess." The look on his face was priceless. But what he did next was unbelievable. What have I done.
