Chapter 1: The Quest

This chapter takes place RIGHT after The Sun and the Star ends. It's basically picking up where it left off. (the year is either 2011 or 2012)

Since he and Will had literally just completed their quest to save Bob, Nico expected to have normal nightmares about what happened down there. Meeting Nyx, seeing her Mansion, almost losing Will. However, instead of nightmares, he saw flashes of events he had never witnessed. The images passed by briefly. A flash of green light, a red stone shattering, a giant snake slithering past, a large black dog, a blue-flame-filled goblet, a blue orb, a vial of gold liquid, and a blinding flash of light suddenly going dark.

Before he could see more, Nico woke up, gasping, in a cold sweat.

He took a moment to wake up a bit and look around. He was in the Apollo cabin, and the sunlight peeking through the windows told him that it was still pretty early. Will wasn't next to him, so Nico assumed he was already at the dining pavilion. Nico got up and ready, then headed to the dining pavilion. He'd have to tell Will and Dionysus about his dream; Will would want to know, and Nico had talked to Dionysus about his dreams that led to his second trip to Tartarus (this time with Will).

When he got to the pavilion, Nico was surprised to see a shaken Will talking to Dionysus about something. Nico wondered if he had nightmares about their recent trip to Tartarus. After all, they'd only gotten back yesterday.

"Will, you okay?" Nico asked when he got close enough.

Will seemed to just notice he was there. "Nico! You're awake! I tried to wake you up, but you were out cold."

Nico ignored his comment. "Listen, I had a really strange dream last night. I saw-"

Dionysus interrupted him. "Another strange dream? If this one was anything like your other ones or like Solace's, I can expect a great story! So, what happened in this dream of yours?" (A/N remember, Dionysus is fond of Neeks and Will, so he'd probably get their names right)

"Wait, what happened in your dream, Sunshine?" Nico asked.

Will explained that he also saw images flash by: a mirror with runes on it, a statue of someone, a full moon, a maze, a room with a lot of doors, a necklace, and a forest.

"What do you think these visions could mean?" Nico asked Dionysus.

Dionysus frown. "I'm not sure. Perhaps they could be significant events that will happen or have already happened. Although, unless you are going on another quest so soon after your last one, I cannot fathom why you two would be seeing these images."

Nico looked at will, understanding passing between them. Considering the fact that they were demigods, it was likely that they would have to go on another quest, even though they had just completed one.

As if on que, Rachel came stumbling towards them, green mist spewing from her. When she spoke, it was the Oracle's raspy voice that came out (A/N not like that...);

"Five travel to Hecate's school where magic's plans go awry
