After a few more days at the Burrow, we were tempted to tell our new friends about our true identities. They seemed trustworthy, and they were only twelve, so I doubted they would try to start any wars with our kind just because we would probably beat them in a fight. Will was on board, and after some careful consideration, so was Annabeth. Nico and Thalia, however, were skeptical.
"Look, they may seem trustworthy, but one slip-up is all it takes. Based on what I've heard, that Harry Potter boy is pretty famous. I'd be willing to bet people would believe him if he let our secret out. And I'm not saying he and his buddy would intentionally cause problems by letting it out, and I'm not saying they would even intentionally let it out. But what I am saying is that all it takes is one slip-up. They might tell someone they trust who ends up letting it out, or they may end up bringing it up in a conversation without thinking. My point is that we should play it safe for now. Wait for the right time to tell them. Otherwise we might end up making this quest a whole lot more difficult than it needs to be," Thalia told us.
"I agree with Thalia. It's just too risky. I don't think anyone wants to be in another war, nor do any of us want to be the lab rats of wizard edition government officials," Nico said.
"I already considered all of that, and I highly doubt government officials would start a search party because of a rumor started by a bunch of second-years. Besides, thats assuming our secret gets out at all. Harry and Ron don't seem the type to go starting rumors, nor does that Hermione Granger girl they told us about," Annabeth stated.
"They might not go around telling everyone, but what if they slip up? What then? Besides, if we tell them here, the other Weasleys could overhear. I'm not too worried about Molly or the twins, but what if Arthur accidentally lets it slip at the Ministry itself? And what about the little girl, Ginny? Who knows, what if she's a gossiper? We can't risk it," Thalia replied.
"Okay, okay, how about this? We do tell Harry, Ron, and their friend Hermione, but we tell them in a compart5ment on the Hogwarts Express? People are much less likely to overhear us then. Also, we could tell them how important it is for them to keep it quiet. If I'm being completely honest, though, I really don't think people will be that intent on trying to learn our secrets. People have their own lives, you know. We might be being a bit paranoid, anyways," I told everyone.
"Hmm, alright. But if we get discovered, I'm blaming you, Fish Face," Thalia said.
"I think that sounds like a great plan," Annabeth said.
"I'm on board," said Nico.
"So am I," Will stated.
"Alright then, it's a plan," I declared. "Now, let's go up to the house, it's almost breakfast time."

After breakfast, Mrs. Weasley told us all to gather around the fireplace. She said it was time for us to go school shopping, which made sense since it was August 28th, but I wasn't sure what the fireplace had to do with anything.
