I avoided Aire the whole night. When he tried to talk to me ay nilalayo ako ni Mavis, like going to the cr or getting some drinks. Aire stopped bugging me for the night kaya I was a bit relieved.

"Narinig naman nating lahat eh." I was in the cubicle while Mavis waits for me. "Sinabi ni Boss Aire ay Avery, gets naman na maganda nga yung bago pero greatest love eh. Saksi ako sa love story ni Boss at ni Madam. Kung buhay pa siguro si Madam ay hindi depressed si Boss."

I finished up and opened the door. Nakita ko ang gulat sa mata ng dalawa when I washed my hands. I smiled at them then walked away.

"Ma'am, sorry po." One yelled kaya nilingon ko sila.

"Don't be, totoo naman eh."

I went out and nakita ko agad si Aire na kausap si Mavis.

"How dare you, Aire? Watch yourself, her father is a notorious killer in Greece. Don't you think na this is very disrespectful to Lux? Her father will kill you and drink your blood."

"If you let me talk to her for just a moment then maybe hindi kami magkakaroon ng miscommunication." He argued.

"Aire, gusto kong umuwi." I said kaya nilingon nila ako. "I'm tired, can I go home now?"

"They haven't officially re-opened the company yet." He said.

"Sorry, I'm just so tired. I need to get home na." I asked if he can call Manong to drive me home and he eventually agreed.

"Wait for me home." He said.

"Sorry, pagod talaga ako." I answered.

Tumango siya then he leaned in and kissed me on the lips.

I knew it was forced.

Once Manong arrived ay inuwi na niya ako sa bahay. I removed the dress and put on my black nightgown.

I sat on my bed and stared at the picture of Avery that was still in this room.

"How can you be dead but still win him? I am so jealous of you, Avery but I am never going to blame you." I wiped my tears and moved the picture to Aire's room. "They were right.. he would've still been very happy had he not lost you."

I went to my room again to sleep.

Nang magising ako ay hindi na ako nagbihis. I went down to eat breakfast and saw na Aire was here already. Natigil ako and he looked at me.

"Good morning." He said. "Manang Ester, get Luxiana breakfast."

Naupo ako sa harap niya and looked down. I was getting skinny again.

"How did you sleep?" Aire asked.

"Fine." Sagot ko.

"Nga pala, I wouldn't be home mamayang gabi. Kailangan ako sa company so you can do anything. You can throw a party or invite your friends if you want."

I looked at him. Since when do I throw parties?

"I don't throw parties." I said at natigil siya. "You must be thinking of Avery."

"Uhm.."

"It's fine, my father is here naman so Mommy invited me home. Baka hindi rin kita makausap sa phone since my father is a very strict man."

"Then, sasama ako. I haven't met your father yet."

"No need." I said kaya tinignan niya ako. "The company needs you. I can tell him na you're very busy, he'll understand."

"Sure?"

"Yes." I said. "Isa pa, hindi ka pa handa na makilala si Daddy."

Tumango siya then went to his room.

After breakfast ay umakyat na rin ako at nagsimulang mag-impake. I packed a lot of pajamas and a bunch of dresses. Since Daddy was here ay marami rin kaming beach na pupuntahan.

Nakaalis na si Aire when I went downstairs kaya I drove my car.

"Daddy!" I cheerfully greeted when he opened the door.

"My darling!" He hugged me and took my bag for me. "Where is your husband?"

"Oh, he can't come here. Super busy po sa work but he really wanted to be here to meet you."

"Shame." He said and helped me with my things. "Rest, my sweet darling. We will bond tomorrow."

"Thanks, Daddy."

He kissed my head and smiled.

"I love you, my diamond."
