"Luxiana?" I looked at Aire as he smiled while walking towards me. "Hey, I just had a call from my sister na she wants to see us a week before your due date."
"Uhm.. when nga ulit?"
"2 weeks from now. She is going to give some baby stuff to us from her baby."
Tumango ako at tinitigan siya sa mata.
"Aire, I don't hate you." I said suddenly.
He looked shocked but at the same time relieved. Kinuha ko yung papel kanina and gave it to him. I crossed out his name from the list and replaced it with 'Aire not loving me'.
"How did you know about this?" He asked.
"Burara ka kasi."
He laughed and hugged me.
"I love you so much, Luxiana." He said kaya ngumiti ako.
I was slowly accepting him as someone who really does love me but there will be parts of me that will know for a fact that I am only second to his heart.
Buong araw niya akong pinapagsilbihan. I just sit back and relax all day.
A lot happened at our vacation but I needed to go home agad. Kakababa lang namin sa eroplano ay may naramdaman na ako kaagad. I looked down and saw that my water just broke.
"Aire.."
He looked at me and saw the mess I had made kaya dali-dali siyang tumawag ng ambulance.
The nearest hospital from here was 30 minutes away pero hindi ko alam kung kaya ko yung ganun ka layo.
"Hang in there, Luxiana." Aire said as he held my hand in a panic. "Kuya malayo pa ba?"
"Sir, pasensya na po masyadong traffic."
"Aire hindi ko na kaya." I said. "Kailangan na nilang lumabas."
"Lux, wala tayong kasamang doktor ngayon so please just keep them in for a little longer."
"Anong keep them in!? I will make sure na hindi ulit ito mangyayari sa akin! You need to stay out of me."
"Oo, basta huwag muna sa ambulance."
We were all panicking so it didn't help me to relax much. Nakarating na kami sa hospital sa wakas. I had such a hard time in labor, these kids were already a menace!
Unang inilabas ang baby boy namin kaya tuwang-tuwa si Aire habang umiiyak ang bata.
I was losing a lot of blood now kaya pinilit na nilang ilabas ang sunod na baby. The doctors were having a hard time with this one kaya nilingon ko si Aire.
"Everything will be fine-."
"No pulse!" Sigaw ng isang doctor nang mailabas ang baby girl namin. "No pulse!"
Nabingi na ako sa mga sumunod na nangyari. Aire ran to our children to check on Kassia. He was already screaming and begging for our baby to breathe again. I looked over the nurse and she assured me na everything will be fine.
"Don't die on me, anak!" Aire said as he continued pumping on Kassia's cheat. "Kass, stay alive."
Everything felt unreal. I lost a lot of energy from giving birth kaya naramdaman ko ang dahan-dahang pagbagsak ng katawan ko.
"Kass.." I whispered before finally shutting my eyes. "Wake up, Kassia."
