Nanghihina ako habang patuloy na sinusubukang buhayin si Kassia. I was very worried about my baby girl, mas lalo lang akong nadagdagan ng problema when a nurse yelled na nahimatay na din si Luxiana.
Khan was already in the nursery pero I was fighting for my daughter's life here.
I suddenly looked at the doctor when Kass began breathing again, she cried and cried so hard kaya kinuha na ulit siya ng nurse at sinunod sa nursery with Khan.
I looked over as they were stitching Luxiana up. Oh my..
"Nabuhay siya, Luxiana. Nabuhay si Kassia." I whispered then kissed her forehead.
Nilipat na si Luxiana sa isang room at doon siya pinagpahinga. I went to go check on my children when I saw mine and Luxiana's parents already outside the nursery.
"How the hell are you all here?" I asked.
"Oh darling!" Mom said. "Luxiana's gps was on kaya sinundan namin ang parents niya."
"GPS?" I asked.
"Oh, Lux said na she was in Palawan but we didn't exactly knew where. We figured na i-operate ulit ang GPS niya sa phone so we can watch over her." Her mother answered. "So, nasaan ang mga apo namin?"
I pointed at Khan and Kassia who were inside the nursery.
"Oh what beautiful little angels." Dad said. "That boy has a full head of hair."
"Our side." Lux's father said. "Where is Luxiana's room? I want to see if my baby girl is alright."
"Sumama po kayo sa akin."
Si Daddy lang ang sumunod sa akin since they were all still captivated by the twins.
"She's still asleep." I said and opened the door.
He walked towards her bed and kissed her forehead.
"She is safe with you, I assume." He said. "I want to formally ask of you to take good care of Luxiana. She is my only daughter."
"Will do, Sir."
Umalis siya saglit para asikasuhin ang mga papeles ni Luxiana. I forgot about those..
I sat beside her then watched her breath softly. Gising ka na, Luxiana. Miss na kitang kausapin.
The doctors said na after 6 hours ay magigising na daw siya but it's already been 10 hours. I'm getting worried about her.
I had to take care of the babies while also looking after her. Dumaan ang ilang araw na hindi ako makapag-isip ng maayos. Kassia and Khan were fine but Luxiana was still asleep.
I'd give everything up for her to wake up now. Pumunta ako sa simbahan para ipagdasal si Luxiana.
"Lord.. I know na I was a very horrible person to Lux pero just this once pagbigyan niyo ako na makasama pa rin si Luxiana."
I cried and cried at the church. I knew that when Luxiana left me to go stay at her parents' house was also the time that I had started healing from the pain of Avery.
I was more wounded when she was away from me, heck, I would have killed myself when I couldn't get her address. I think I started loving her completely when she still chose me over her own freedom.
She is so much more of a person than I am and will ever be.
"Hello?"
