Denise walked into the café and spotted Barbara waving from a booth. She smiled and waved back before waiting in line. She decided to get a slice of cake as well. Their red velvet was heavenly. She dug her credit card out from her purse just as the line moved forward. She would definitely need a walk after indulging. After placing her order, she paid and moved to the pick-up counter. Her mouth watered at all the delicious desserts displayed. She couldn't wait for her first bite of cake. A sweet young lady handed her a tray with two pieces of cake and one iced coffee. She knew Barbara hadn't bought herself anything other than tea, so she made sure to get her favorite carrot cake. Turning slowly, she walked to the booth and gently sat the tray down as her editor finished a phone call. She emptied her tray, and a young man took it for her. She sat down and took a large sip of iced goodness. She sighs happily and pulls her cake closer. Barbara ends her call and thanks her for the cake. " Oh, love, you're going to put extra kilos on me buying cake for me. Not that I'm complaining, " She says, laughing. Denise takes a bite of hers and moans. "This should be illegal it's so good," She tells her. Denise wipes her mouth. "Did you get your deposit?" She asks her. "Yes, missy...that is more than our agreed amount again. You're a gem, sweetie. I'll say thank you and not fuss this time, " Barbara says, waving her fork at her. Denise chuckles. "You already fussed." They enjoy each other's company while eating their treat.

Tom made sure Bobby pottied before arriving at the café. He smiled at his pups excitement. Bobby obviously recognized where they were going. He loved their dog friendly peanut butter cookies. He could smell the delicious aromas before he opened the glass door. There were only two people ahead of them in line. Bobby wagged his tail, hoping to get pets from them. One turned, knew who he was, and just said 'hi' before bending down and petting Bobby. His dog loved extra attention. Soon, his turn was next. "Good morning, Mr. Hiddleston. The usual?" She asked, smiling and greeting him and Bobby. "Yes, please, Mrs. Darden, " He says, smiling back. "Oh love, just Helen. No need to be formal, you know that, " She tells him, placing his Victoria Sponge into a takeaway container along with two biscuits for Bobby in a cute little bag with a large pawprint on it. He chuckles. "Only if you call me Tom."No sir, not professional," She says, cheekily winking at him. He laughs then, charmed as always. A young man hands him his hot coffee. "Thank you, darling, come back soon," Mrs. Darden tells him warmly. Tom promises to and turns to leave. He pushes his glasses up and balances his coffee carefully. He briefly glances around the room, and then he stops moving completely. His heart skipped a beat as he looked at her. She was pretty, but more than that, she was magnetic. He was drawn to her, a complete stranger. It wasn't looks, well, not just looks. It was a glow she had, a strong confidence. He was intrigued about her. He was going to walk over to her, but he noticed the paparazzi were starting to crowd the shop. He left in short order with Bobby, and the photographers took a few pictures before leaving him to his walk.

Denise looked up and noticed several photographers crowding the entrance, rapidly taking pictures of someone. She shrugged and continued her conversation with Barbara. She hadn't met anyone famous since moving here, but maybe she would one day.
