A few days before the festival.
Tom decided being lazy with Bobby on the couch was the perfect way to spend a rainy Wednesday. Bobby was asleep, obviously running after squirrels in his sleep. He chuckled, smiling at his adorable pup. Tom looks back at the TV currently playing Grey's Anatomy. It was one of his comfort shows that he'd watched many times. Just as his eyes were shutting, the phone rang out. He grabbed it off of the back of the couch and answered. "Hey Luke, what's going on?" He asked his agent. "I wanted to let you know about a Shakespeare festival happening this Saturday. There will be universities and small businesses. They also have a couple of authors too." He told Tom. "That sounds wonderful, Luke! I'd like to go." He tells him, excited. "I figured you would, so I let them know we'll be there, and I have already arranged for a bodyguard or two just in case. Shakespeare fans are pretty chaotic, " He says, joking. "Ha, ha... really funny, Luke," Tom says, rolling his eyes. Luke laughs. "I try! Ok, the festival starts at 9 am, so my thought is to get there right before they start or towards the end." He says, taking a sip of his hot tea. Tom gently scratches his beard. "Before I'm thinking. I'd like to meet the authors, whomever they are. Do I know them?" He asks. Luke pulls up the article he found online. "One is Gwen Sill, and the other is Denise Carey." He answers. "I feel like I've read or heard of them, but I can't place where."He says. "Well, you'll find out when you go Saturday," Luke says. "Thanks for letting me know, mate. I appreciate it, " Tom tells him warmly. "You're welcome. I wasn't sure you wanted to get out, but I knew I'd at least tell you about it." He says, knowing Tom needed a break after so many projects, one after the other. "Thanks. You're coming with me, right?" Tom asks him. "Of course I am! Someone has to keep you out of trouble, " He says. "Sure, Luke, I'm all types of bad," He tells him in his deep Loki voice. "Ok, save that for the fans," Luke says, both of them laughing. They hang up after goodbyes. Tom pets Bobby, smiling to himself. He wishes he could run into that woman he saw at the coffee shop. He hasn't stopped thinking about her. Sighing, he adjusts Bobby on his chest, and soon, he's asleep.
