I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. I picked my head up from Toni's chest and looked around. I saw Azuree still sleeping with the restraints on her body. She hasn't woken up yet, the doctors say things like this take time. I heard the knock on the door again and got up. I opened the door and poked my head through the crack. I saw Joey,
"Hi Joey, you just got here?"
"No of course not." I stepped outside to talk to him so I wouldn't wake up Toni or Zee. "I got here when you guys did but the doctors wouldn't let me in the room with you guys. Says I'm not family even though I told them I am. It's a good thing that Jackie saw me and told me the room that she's in. I don't know how long I would've been out here if she didn't see me."
"Oh okay. I'll have to talk to them about that." He laughed.
"No it's fine, Jackie already did that for me. How's Zee?"
I sighed, "She hasn't woken up yet so I don't know. The doctors said that she should make a full recovery so that's what we're hoping for."
"Okay, I'll be praying for her." After talking for a while, I headed back into the room. The two of them were still sleeping and I didn't want to bother Toni, so I sat on the other couch. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and to my surprise it wasn't dead. I haven't been on my phone since last night so I know I have a lot of messages and missed calls from concerned family members.

I had a few more messages but I'll look at those later. I heard shuffling on the couch and saw Toni starting to wake up. I smiled and waved at her. "Hi, baby."
"Hi, love." I got up from the couch and sat next to her. She got up and kissed my cheek. "She didn't wake up yet?"
"No, it's very nerve-wracking. How's your arm?"
