Thanksgiving was a few days ago and the family had so much fun together. Like always, thanksgiving was held at Katherine's house but she did less of the cooking since she's getting older. She did watch over the ones who cooked to make sure that they were doing it right. After Thanksgiving, Zee's great grandmother went back to Saint Lucia and Christian went back on campus. He'll be back for Christmas.
Azuree's rehabilitation sessions are going great and she's getting better day by day, working on getting back to her regular self. Each day she regrets putting her parents and siblings in that situation. If she could go back in time and change what happened, she would.
Since Christmas is right around the corner, the couple are getting their children's Christmas gifts in order. They sat in the living room, on their computers with multiple tabs open. Toni chuckled as she looked through Eissa's Christmas list that Desiree helped him write.
"Baby look at Eissa's list, he wants a Spider-Man toothbrush, a Spider-Man toy, a Spider-Man game— everything on this list is basically Spider-Man related." They laughed.
"Desiree's list is expensive, her art supplies are." Toni nodded. "What's her color wrapping paper?" Janet asked.
"Hers is pink, Skai's is purple, Zee's is blue and so is King's but a darker blue, and Eissa's is—"
"Spider man." They said at the same time before laughing. They spent a few hours getting their children's Christmas gifts together.
"How much did you spend?" Toni asked Janet.
"Five thousand even."
"Five thousand?!"
"Yes, we have other family to buy gifts for and I got some for you too."
"Aww baby, thank you. I got some stuff for you too." Toni kissed her cheek. "I spent almost six thousand, that's a lot." They paid for the gifts and closed their computers.
"My bank account is screaming." Hearing the front door open, the couple turned their heads.
"Hellooo."
"We got cookies mommy!" Eissa exclaimed. "Cookie crumble."
"Cookie crumble?"
"It's Crumbl Cookie papa." Skai corrected. "And we're going to do a YouTube video."
"We?!"
"Yes, you guys too."
"Nuh-uh."
"Yes-huh, you guys have to do a YouTube video with me because you guys were in Zee's live."
"Oh she's right baby."
"Fine."
"Good." They got up and walked to the kitchen and sat at the island table. Azuree would be behind the camera, taking score since she's vegan and can't eat the cookies while Eissa would also be behind the camera playing along. Skai made sure her camera was at the right angle and turned it on. "Hi guys, we're back and we have our parents with us."
"Hey you guys I'm Janet."
"I'm Toni."
"And I'm Desiree."
"And today we're going to be trying and rating crumble cookies. Every week they have different flavors and this week we have the classic chocolate chip, the pink sugar cookie, brownie sundae, pumpkin spice, raspberry cheesecake and this birthday cake Oreo one." Skai added.
"That's some crazy flavors." Toni giggled.
"Can we try the pumpkin one first? I think that one will taste good."
