Chapter 4, Donation?!

3rd PoV

Rosaleen was led by Rui as they approached the Jabberwock house, Rosaleen looked around shielding her eyes as they entered, seeing the atmosphere completely change. 

The fields stretched on as the sun made her fiery orange hair glow, her freckles had essentially melted into her skin when the sun danced across her skin. Her jaw dropped in amazement upon seeing the scenery. 

“Well. Mademoiselle. This is where we part, Haru isn’t the biggest fan of mine, so I am going to call it now and bid you adieu.” He bowed again and she rolled her eyes softly at him.

“See you later Rui, have a good day.” She said waving as she made her way across the fields, the sun making her blue lapel flash happily from where it was pinned and she sighed softly. Enjoying the weather, well the weather that she could sense as the sky darkened and thunder rolled. Her black eyes widened at the sudden change when she heard a yell.

“Towa! I am fine! Don’t worry!” A male voice called out to the left, her eyes flicked that way seeing a pen as well as a man with a deep frown on his boyish face with lavender colored hair. 

“Hmph…~”” The lavender haired man or Towa, seemed to hum in worry watching the reddish haired man work with the animals in the pen. 

“Oh! A Frostheim Lady!” The man said as he left the pen now, approaching Rosaleen. The man wore a hat and it wasn’t until he got closer when Rosaleen noticed a little white fluff in a carrier on his shirt, it seemed to open its small eyes.

“Peaaa!” It squeaked happily, its small ears wagging softly.

“Oh. You’re not a regular student, you’re the new female ghoul from Frostheim, welcome to the Jabberwock animal park. How can I help you?” The red haired man asked head to the side. 

“~~~~!” The lavender haired man approached his boyish features soft and gentle as he approached Rosaleen, his hands reaching forward and grabbing the sides of her face. Having her lookup as he was very much taller than her. To look her in the eyes.

“Hmm~?” He seemed to hum, as the red haired man stepped forward and grabbed the lavender haired man's arm.

“Towa, you can’t just grab customers' faces like that!” The red haired man chastised the lavender haired man softly like a mother to a child. 

“Hmmm. hmm… Hmmm~!” Towa whined looking at Rosaleen still worried as he tilted his head to the side, worried. 

“No. She’s not stressed, she will be okay.” The red haired man assured turning to Rosaleen again.

“Sorry about Towa, my name is Haru. How can I help.” He said kindly looking at Rosaleen, the little critter in his carrier squealed happily at Rosaleen. 

“Oh. I just wanted to see some of the animals, take a look around to see if you needed any help?” She offered smiling gently, Haru’s eyes widened more as he sucked  a sharp breath in as he hummed.

“I don’t know… Do you have any experience with animals, let alone anomalous animals?” He asked quizzically and Rosaleen nodded proudly.

“Yes. At my previous academy I was a dedicated animal ghoul, anytime a new animal came through my parents summoned me.” Rosaleen explained happily, Haru grinned, motioning for Rosaleen to follow, and she did confused as Towa grabbed her wrist pulling her along the walkway.

“Haaaa!~” Towa hummed happily, pulling Rosaleen with him as they followed Haru. 

“Here we are, wait what was your name? I never got it.” Haru asked Rosaleen who smiled slightly.
