Rosaleen's PoV

Ryder and I stepped back on the train as the doors closed, I sat down as Ryder sat next to me leaning back and threw his arm on the seat piece behind me and I shuffled slightly as the train jolted to life and made me fall slightly into Ryder. He chuckled gently, allowing me to sit back up again, his eyes straight forward as I put my hands in my lap and we rode in silence.

The train screeched to a stop suddenly and I fell the other way and his arm moved and caught me around the shoulders, blushing coated my cheeks as I stared at him now and he winked slightly and my brows raised as someone cleared their throat.

"Are we interrupting something?" A familiar voice huffed and I jumped away from Ryder, my eyes wide turning to see all Alan, Cara, Leo, and Sho standing staring at us and I shot out of my seat leaving space as I held my arm slightly not meeting Alan's eyes. I didn't know what to do.

"Alan. Was wondering when we would meet again, how are you doin?" Ryder asked standing and resting a hand on his slender hip as he smiled slightly at Alan who just glared at the blonde ghoul slightly as he huffed and the rest of the crew got onto the train, I sat alone away from the crowd as I tried to get my mind to understand what that vibe off Alan was.

"You okay Rose? You're mighty quiet." I jumped, turning my head to see Cara had come and sat next to me and I smiled softly and reached up patting her on the head, and I sighed softly, shrugging softly as I leaned back on the soft seats.

"I dunno... I am just tired as hell from this mission. I dunno it's hard to explain." I quipped softly, not entirely sure what to say or do as I ran a hand through my hair and looked over at the group of boys that just sat and glared at eachother Alan noticed my moment and looked over at me slightly, his deep gray green eyes met mine and he studied my features as he looked away now. Angry as I huffed and looked back at Cara who stared at me confused, I shrugged gently my black eyes stung slightly as I leaned back and ran my hands over my face.

"I like Alan... But... Ryder... He's cute too... I think I like them both but I cannot figure it out." I admitted, Cara hummed in thought as she looked at the boys again as she looked back at me again.

"Alan likes you. He wouldn't stop talking about you during the day, he kept your chat window open on his phone he didn't know what to say. I think he may worry that you don't like him." She suggested head to the side and I shrugged gently, as I ran my hands over my face in exasperation.

"I don't know..." I mumbled into my hands, my stress and exhaustion getting to me as I wasn't sleeping well, my body screaming at me still. I wanted to cry just from the stress. I sighed softly as Cara patted me on the back gently.

I leaned back on the train seat, my head leaning back on the back of the seat. I stared up at the ceiling of the train feeling the train come to a halt. My hands were played with my sleeves as I stood instantly and walked out of the train without looking back.

I could hear someone calling my name but I didn’t stop, my head was full and full of noise that I couldn’t get to stop. My legs carried me straight ahead towards the Frostheim dorm, my heeled combat boots hitting the floors.

“Rosa-” I kept walking ignoring anyone who tried to get my attention, only stopping when I turned a corner and ran right into the last person I wanted to talk to.

“Jin. I am so sorry…” I scrambled out of the way immediately, my black eyes wide as I looked up to see the chilling angry glare of the Frostheim captain that glared down at me.

“Watch where you’re going. Stupid…” He muttered as he stepped around me ignoring my disheveled looking facial expression. I sighed in defeat walking into my room, sitting down on my bed ignoring my phone. I kept my face in my hands, my breathing heavily in anxiety.
