I stepped into the dusty garage, coughing slightly, waving my hand in front of my face to clear the dust away. The sun leaked through the skylights painting the large base as well as the graffiti along the cement.

“Well hello hot stuff, what's Frostheim doing here~?” A smooth voice asked behind me, making my brows screw together as I spun on the person. My eyes narrowed as I stared but it was directed at the chest of the person. My eyes raised to stare the stranger in the eyes as I glared at him angrily.

“Step. Back.” I said slowly, my black eyes narrowed in defiance as I stared at him, it was just a general studies student who tried to use every well known tactic on me, my eyes were not impressed.

“Kurt, don’t that’s the female Frostheim ghoul, don’t fuck with her.” The guys behind him said, the Kurt guy not backing down and my eyes narrowed further as I didn’t react.

“Listen to your friends, Kurt. Leave. Me. Alone. I do not take kindly to creeps.” I said slowly, making Kurt's eyes narrow as he slumped and walked away, not saying anything further.

Slow clapping could be heard behind me and I turned on my heel, running straight into the chest of the last person I wanted to see in this godforsaken garage. Leo Kurosagi.

“Watch it!” He snapped, I jumped back and let out an exasperated huff as I crossed my arms.

“Where’s your Captain, I need to report to him about the mission I have to join you and Sho on.” I explained and Leo’s attention immediately snapped to me, like he just heard the most shocking news.

“I beg your fucking pardon?” He snapped, his hazel eyes narrowing in annoyance and frustration.

“Why is that meathead sending Frostheim to work with us? Thats fucking stupid!” Leo seethed as he shoved past me annoyed as he spoke over his shoulder, in a bored and annoyed tone.

“Tell him I’m not going, I am not working with a Frostheim.” He said as he left and I turned again to see Sho staring at me and I froze, unsure what to do, his chilling gaze looking me up and down.

“I am not going either, just claim it as a Frostheim mission, because you will have to drag me out by my feet.” He said following Leo, but brushing aggressively past me. I stumbled slightly and fell back landing on my butt, my brows scrunched together in frustration, ‘fucking jerks’ I thought as a hand reached down bigger than mine more rough and welcoming.

“Sorry about them, you’re not hurt are you…?” I looked up at the deep voice, my eyes meeting his, hazel green like when pine needles are at their prime and they turn the green grey that is just. Mysterious. with depths of thought and a mid-summer storm in the early mornings deep in the woods. That’s the color that stared back. My brain short circuited as I tried to think of the next words to say.

“Ms..?” I was snapped back to reality by his deep soothing voice, my heart froze for a second as my eyes started to register his whole face. Body starting to have a mind of its own as I accepted his hand, which was warm and gentle even though it felt like it had done a fair share of work.

“I… Uh sorry. Yeah I am okay, I thought Sho and I were on good terms. But guess not.” I hummed, shrugging and dusting myself off now, frowning gently as I sighed softly. Looking back at the man who just helped me up. His features were sharp but he had a mysterious but aloof aura about him that drew me in, I didn’t know why.

“I uh… Hi… Uh… Is the Captain around?” I asked, tripping over my words as the man moved his head to the side, his dark eyes twinkling softly in the sunny ambience of the garage.
