The next morning, Addie wakes up not feeling good at all. "Dray?" Draco groaned as he rolled over. "Yeah, baby?" Draco says, barely awake. "I don't feel good," she says laying back down next to him. "Come here," Addie cuddles up to him, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer to him. "Being pregnant sucks," she mumbled. Draco laughed at her words. "I know, but it will all be worth it when our little princess is here."Addie let out a frustrated sigh and rolled to her side. "How much longer?" she asked.Dray chuckled softly. "It's okay, darling, you're halfway there," he reassured her."Ugh," Addie pouted. "Come on now, don't give me that look," Dray said, trying to lift her spirits.Draco gently brushed away a strand of hair from Addie's face and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. "You're doing great, Addie. I'm here for you every step of the way," he whispered. Addie managed a small smile, feeling grateful for Draco's comforting presence. "I love you," she murmured, snuggling closer to him. "I love you too, Addie," Draco said, holding her tight. "We'll get through this together." Addie closed her eyes, feeling reassured by Draco's words, and drifted back to sleep, knowing that she had his unwavering support. The next few hours passed by in a blur, and Addie found herself waking up to the soft rays of the morning sun. She turned to Draco, who was already awake, and offered him a tired smile. "How are you feeling now?" he asked, concern evident in his voice. Addie took a moment to assess herself before replying, "I think I'm feeling a bit better today, thanks to you." Draco leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek. "I'm just glad I could help," he said, his eyes filled with warmth and love. Addie knew that with Draco by her side, she could handle anything that came her way.

The days grew longer, and the weeks felt more tiring, but their love only grew stronger with each passing moment. They treasured the tranquil times, the gentle kicks from their unborn child, and the whispered promises of a future brimming with happiness and peace. However, the shadow of the prophecy loomed, serving as a constant reminder of the challenges that lay ahead.

One morning, as Addie was getting ready for breakfast, she felt a sudden sharp pain. She gasped, and Draco was by her side in an instant. "What is it?" he asked, his eyes filled with concern. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "It's just Braxton Hicks," she assured him, referring to the practice contractions that could occur during pregnancy. "They're more intense this time."Draco wrapped his arms around her, his heart racing. "Should we go see Madam Pomfrey?" he suggested, his voice laced with worry. Addie nodded, gripping his hand tightly as they made their way to the infirmary. Madam Pomfrey examined her and confirmed that everything was normal, but the experience left them both on edge. The weeks turned into months, and the prophecy remained unspoken but ever-present. Draco worked tirelessly with Professor Dumbledore to bolster the school's defenses, often coming home late and exhausted. Addie could see the toll it was taking on him, the lines on his face deepening, his eyes carrying a weight she hadn't seen before. Yet, every night, he found the strength to sit by her side, feeling the baby's kicks, and whispering sweet nothings to them both. One evening, as Draco collapsed onto the bed, Addie placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Baby, you're overworking yourself," she said softly. Draco sighed, his eyes closing for a brief moment. "I know," he admitted. "But I can't rest until I know everyone is safe." Addie leaned in, her hand moving to his cheek. "Look at me," she whispered. "It's okay to take a break." He opened his eyes and searched hers, finding a calm resolve that made his heart ache. "Sirius can help," she suggested. "Let him take some of the weight."Draco sighed heavily, his eyes never leaving hers. "But what if it's not enough?" he asked, his voice thick with doubt. "What if something happens?""You can't control everything, Draco," Addie said firmly, her hand sliding down to his chest. "You're doing all you can. Now, please, let's focus on us and the baby. We need to take care of ourselves too." She paused, her hand gently stroking his cheek. "For our family."Her voice was soothing, and Draco felt his tension ease slightly. "You're right," he murmured, his eyes never leaving hers. "Thank you." He leaned in and kissed her, feeling the warmth of her love fill the room. They decided to spend the night in, ordering dinner from the House Elves and watching the stars from their window. The following days saw a slight shift in their routine. Draco delegated more tasks to Sirius and the other Order members, allowing himself to spend more time with Addie. They took leisurely walks around the grounds, her hand in his, sharing quiet moments of anticipation and joy. Addie's condition remained stable, and their baby grew stronger with each passing day.But one evening, as they were preparing for dinner, Addie's face suddenly paled, and she gripped the edge of the table. "Draco," she whispered, "I don't feel good." The words hung heavy in the air, a stark contrast to the laughter they had shared just moments beforeDraco rushed to her side, his hand immediately going to her stomach. "What's wrong?" His voice was tight with concern. Addie took a deep breath, trying to find the words to describe the pain that was shooting through her body. "It's the baby," she managed to get out. "Something's wrong."Panic set in, and Draco's mind raced. He helped her to the bed, his hand trembling as he cast a diagnostic spell. The spell confirmed his worst fear—Addie was in labor, 2 weeks earlier than expected. "Madam Pomfrey!" he yelled, the urgency in his voice echoing through the corridors. The school's healer appeared almost instantaneously, her expression one of shock and concern. "We need to get you to the infirmary," she said, her voice calm but firm.
