As they made their way back home, Draco couldn't help but feel a mixture of fear and hope swirling around inside him. He reached out to hold Addie's hand, giving it a squeeze of reassurance. "We're in this together," he said softly. "No matter what happens, we'll figure it out."Once they were back at their cozy little flat, they settled down on the couch, each with a cup of tea. Draco tried to distract himself by watching a Quidditch match on the television, but his mind kept drifting back to Addie and the possibility of her being pregnant. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the potion took effect. Addie stood up and excused herself to the bathroom. Draco paced the floor, his heart racing, as he waited for her to emerge. When she finally did, there was a look of disbelief on her face. "I can't believe it," she whispered. "I am pregnant."Draco's heart leapt into his throat. He rushed to her side, taking her in his arms. "Oh, Addie," he breathed, "I'm so sorry. I should have been more careful." "hey i don't blame you I'm not mad at you"Tears welled up in his eyes as he held her, the weight of the news settling heavily on his shoulders. He buried his face in her hair, inhaling her familiar scent as he tried to steady his racing thoughts. "I love you, Addie," he whispered. "I'm going to take care of you, and I'm going to be there for you every step of the way." "I'm scared dray" Draco felt a fresh wave of panic wash over him at the sound of her voice. "I know, love. I'm scared too, but we'll face this together. We'll find a way to make this work." He pulled back to look her in the eye, his voice firm and reassuring. "And we'll make the best decisions for our child. They sat there, holding each other, as they tried to process the news. After a while, Draco cleared his throat. "Do you want to tell your parents tonight?" he asked, his voice quivering slightly. "Or should I?" draco asked "um...can we wait on telling our parents? just until the first 20 weeks to be safe " Addie replied, "sounds like a plan to me" Draco agreed, relief flooding through him. "Okay," he said, "we've got some time, then. We can figure out what we want to say to them. "Addie replied, "sounds like a plan to me" Draco agreed, relief flooding through him. "Okay," he said, "we've got some time, then. We can figure out what we want to say to them."He stood up and paced the room, deep in thought. "We'll need to make some big decisions," he mused. "Like where we want to live, if I should finish school, how we'll support a family..." addies head started spinning just from hearing that they need to make all these decisions she grabbed the pillow and put it over her head scared and overwhelmed "we can take it one step at a time, love," Draco said gently, reaching out to pull the pillow away from her face. "We don't have to decide everything right now." He sat down beside her and took her hand in his. "Let's just focus on being together and taking care of each other for now."Addie nodded, feeling a little calmer at the sound of his voice. "Okay," she said softly. "Let's just...let's just be here together." They sat there in silence, lost in their own thoughts, but always with the comforting presence of the other nearby. Eventually, Draco leaned over and kissed her forehead. "I love you, Addie," he whispered. "No matter what happens, I'll always be here for you." She smiled up at him, feeling a little of the weight lift from her shoulders. "i love you too "The next few weeks passed in a blur of doctor's appointments, research, and conversations with their parents. They had to make some tough decisions, like moving out of their respective dorms and finding a place to live that would accommodate their growing family. They also discussed the possibility of Draco finishing school or finding work that would allow him to provide for their child. Despite the challenges they faced, they leaned on each other for support and strength. "Dray, I know we told Sirius have we told harry?"Draco's stomach knotted at the thought of telling Harry. He knew his best friend would be thrilled for them, but he also knew that Harry would want to be there for them every step of the way. It would be hard for him to accept that Draco might not be able to devote as much time to their friendship as he once did. "I don't know, Addie. I think we should tell him soon, but maybe not just yet. Let's focus on us and our baby for now."She nodded, understanding the complexity of the situation. "Okay," she said softly. "I just want to make sure we have all the support we need." They sat there in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts. Then, with a deep breath, Draco reached out and took her hand in his. "We'll figure it out together, Addie. No matter what, we're a team now." She smiled up at him, feeling a surge of love and gratitude for him. "We'll make the best decisions for our child," she promised. "And we'll make sure he or she has a wonderful life." he said to reinsure her "draco lets be honest you want a girl"Draco laughed, nodding his head."Okay, okay. Maybe a little girl. But honestly, Addie, I just want a healthy baby. A boy or a girl, it doesn't matter. As long as they're happy and loved, that's all that matters."She smiled up at him, her eyes shining with tears. "I know. I just... I don't want to jinx anything. I just want to be selfish and admit that I'm hoping for a little girl. Just because.""Of course," Draco said, squeezing her hand gently. "And you know I'd be thrilled with a boy too. No matter what, Addie, we'll make sure our child has the best life possible. We'll be amazing parents." They sat there for a while longer, lost in their thoughts and the comfort of each other's presence. Eventually, Draco glanced at his watch and stood up. "I should probably go. I have a meeting with the headmaster later today. Do you want me to bring anything back for dinner?"Addie shook her head. "No, thanks. I'll just order in or something. what are you meeting with Professor Dumbledore about"Draco paused, a frown tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Just some school business. Nothing important. I'll tell you about it later, okay?" He didn't want to worry her with the details. Instead, he leaned down and kissed her gently on the forehead. "I'll see you tonight. Love you." "forgetting something"He chuckled knowing the look on her face. "No, nothing important." Draco smiled knowing what she was going to do. "I'll see you tonight, love." he said. addie got up and ran to him and jumped into him arms one leg on either side of hes waist and wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him tightly. "what do you mean nothing important"Draco smiled down at her, his hands holding her up by her butt. "I just mean it's nothing you need to worry about, sweetheart. I promise. Now, you focus on feeling better and taking care of our little one, okay?" He kissed the top of her head and then reluctantly pulled away. "I really have to go." "okay kiss"He leaned in and kissed her again, gently, before setting her back on her feet. "I'll see you tonight. Love you."Addie watched him walk away, a bittersweet feeling in her chest. She knew he was hiding something, but she trusted him. She knew they'd get through this together. With a deep breath, she headed back inside, ready to face the day and the challenges that lay ahead. The rest of the day flew by in a blur of doctor's appointments and hospital visits. Addie was exhausted by the end of it, Draco wasnt back yet so she layed down on the couch in the living room and fell asleep. .She woke up to the feeling of Draco kissing her forehead and the sound of his voice. "Hi, love. How are you feeling?" he noticed that she was wearing one his hoodies. She smiled up at him and yawned. "I'm tired, but I'm okay. How was your meeting with the headmaster?"Draco took a seat beside her and rubbed her arm gently. "It went as well as could be expected, I suppose. There are some things we're going to have to do to make sure the school is prepared for the changes that are coming." He hesitated for a moment before asking, "How was your day? Did you see the specialist you needed to see?"Addie nodded, sitting up a bit straighter. "Yes, I did. They confirmed that everything is progressing normally and that the baby is healthy. They just want to keep an eye on me and the baby from now on." She took a deep breath and smiled at Draco. "So, what did you mean when you said there are some things you have to do to make sure the school is prepared?"Draco sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Well, you know Potter's back, right?" Addie nodded. "yeah He's my brother why?" she replied."Well, that complicates things. The school board has made it clear that they want me to keep an eye on him, make sure he's not causing any trouble. And with your pregnancy and everything, they're also worried about the safety of both of you." He paused, searching her eyes for any sign of understanding. "I've been given permission to make some changes to the school's security measures."Addie frowned. "What did you do?"Draco winced. "Nothing too drastic. I've just made sure that Potter will have to go through a few more security checkpoints around the school, and I've also put a few extra Aurors on patrol. I didn't want to alarm you, but I thought it was important to keep you both safe."Addie nodded slowly, taking this in. "I appreciate that you're looking out for us, Draco. It means a lot to me." She leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "And I know you'll make sure nothing bad happens to me and harry, or to anyone else."Draco wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer. "Of course, love. That's what family is for." He kissed the top of her head. "Now, how about we get some dinner? I'm sure you must be starving."They ate in silence for a while, lost in their own thoughts. Addie found herself thinking about everything that had happened in the past few weeks. It was still hard to believe that she was pregnant, and that she and Draco were going to be parents. She glanced over at him as he carefully cut up his food, his expression serious. He was worried about Potter, about the changes that were coming, about keeping them all safe. She knew that he would do everything in his power to protect them.Finishing her dinner, she set her fork down and took a sip of water. "Draco?" she said tentatively. "I've been thinking about what you said earlier... about us being a family."He looked up at her, a question in his eyes. "Yes, love? What about it?""Well," she began hesitantly, "I was thinking... I mean, I know we're not married yet, but with the baby on the way, I was wondering if maybe we could... talk about it. You know, about our future together."Draco's eyes widened slightly, and he seemed to be at a loss for words for a moment. "I... I'd like that, Addie. I've been thinking about it too. Once things have settled down with the school and everything, I'd like to talk about us making it official." He took a deep breath and smiled at her. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and be there for our child. Marriage seems like the natural next step."She smiled back at him, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "I'd like that too, Draco. I know things have been crazy lately, but once things calm down, we can start planning." She paused, then added, "And I promise to be the best mother I can be. I'll always protect our baby, and I'll always be there for you."He reached out and took her hand, giving it a squeeze. "I know you will, love. And I'll always be there for you too. We'll make a great team." He leaned in closer, his blue eyes searching hers. "And once we are married, I'll make sure you're taken care of, now come here" he said patting hes lap inviting her to sit on it. "I want to show you something."Addie smiled and did as he said, carefully climbing onto his lap. As she settled herself comfortably, he reached into his robes and pulled out a small velvet box. Her heart skipped a beat as she realized what he was about to do.He took her hand in his and looked into her eyes, his expression serious. "I've been meaning to do this for a while now," he said softly, "but with everything that's been going on, I didn't want to take the attention away from the baby. But now that we're having this talk... Addie, I want you to know that I love you more than anything in this world. And I want you to be my wife."With shaking hands, he opened the box to reveal a stunning emerald-cut solitaire diamond ring, sparkling in the candlelight. Tears welled up in Addie's eyes as she stared at the ring, her heart racing. "Draco," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "It's beautiful."He smiled at her, wiping away a tear from her cheek. "I've been saving up for it since we got back together. I wanted it to be special." Carefully, he slipped the ring onto her finger, where it fit perfectly. "Addison Paige Potter, will you marry me?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.Tears streamed down her face as she looked up at him, her heart overflowing with love and gratitude. "Yes," she whispered, "yes, Draco Malfoy, I will." She threw her arms around him, burying her face in his neck, and they stayed like that for a long moment, lost in their love for each other."the emeralds in it match your eye perfectly" he said with a smile "and the gold band, well, it's from the same set as your mother's engagement ring" he added, holding her hand up to look at the ring on her finger. "I thought it would be fitting, since I know how much she meant to you"She sniffled, wiping her eyes. "It's beautiful, Draco. Thank you." She leaned back in to kiss him, their lips meeting in a tender, passionate embrace. As they pulled away from each other, she couldn't help but smile. "So, when should we do this?"He grinned back at her. "As soon as possible, of course. How does this weekend sound? We could have a small, intimate ceremony at the Manor, with just our closest family and friends. And then, once the baby is born, we can have a bigger celebration for both events."Addie beamed up at him. "That sounds perfect, Draco. I can't wait to start planning everything with you." She leaned in and kissed him again, this time with more passion. As they broke apart, she smiled up at him, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "I love you so much."He returned her smile, his eyes never leaving her face. "I love you too, Addie. And I can't wait to make you my wife, officially." He paused, then asked, "princess is that my quidditch hoodie"She pulled back, laughing. "Of course it's yours. I just thought... I dunno, it's just so big, and I didn't want to ruin it. I should've asked, though." She reached up, brushing a stray hair behind his ear. "I'm sorry. it smells like you and you werent home"Draco chuckled, leaning down to kiss her. "I'm glad it smells like me. I don't want it to smell like anyone else. You're the only one who gets to wear it." He paused, then grinned. "Well, except for when the baby is born. Then you can share it with them."he said "no way mine" she said with a smile "Its mine" and she snuggled into it. "Thank you for not throwing it out or giving it away. I really appreciate it" she said "of course I wouldnt" he said and kissed her forehead."its my comfort hoodie and it says Malfoy 07 on it so" she said laughing "I know how much it means to you" draco added. "I'm glad I could give it to you and that it's back where it belongs. So, what do you want to do tonight?"She looked up at him, her green eyes sparkling. "we cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie?" she suggested with a smile. "Or play a game of cards or something?" He grinned back at her and nodded. "Sounds like a plan. Let's do that. What movie do you feel like watching?"They settled in on the couch, with Draco behind her, his arms wrapped around her. They flipped through the movie selection, eventually deciding on a romantic comedy they'd both seen before but never got tired of. As the opening credits began to roll, she leaned back into him, feeling his warmth and the steady beat of his heart. he lifted up her shirt just enough to snuggle his chin against her belly, kissing it gently as he felt their baby move beneath his lips.addie giggles at the feeling of it and rests her hand on his head, feeling the softness of his hair. She couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to hold their child in her arms, to see Draco as a father. It was a thought that filled her with an overwhelming sense of love and protectiveness. The movie was funny, as always, and they laughed together, occasionally stealing glances at each other. When the credits began to roll, they both sighed contentedly, leaning into each other even more. "That was perfect," she murmured, nuzzling her face into his neck. "I'm so happy we have tonight together."Draco wrapped his arms tighter around her, kissing the top of her head. "Me too, princess. I feel so lucky to have you in my life, and soon to be the mother of my child. I promise to always take care of you, and our family, no matter what."The thought of their family made her heart swell with happiness. She snuggled deeper into his embrace, her fingers tracing gentle patterns on his chest. "I love you, Draco," she whispered. "I don't know what I'd do without you." He kissed the top of her head, his breath warm against her scalp. "You'll never have to find out, because I'm never going anywhere. No matter what happens, we'll face it together. And we'll make sure our child grows up in a loving, supportive home." She snuggled deeper into his embrace, feeling the reassurance of his words and his touch. "your being really cute and sweet right now" she murmured tracing circles on his chest.Draco chuckled softly. "Well, I am trying to be romantic." He kissed the top of her head again, his breath warm against her hair. "But seriously, I want you to know that I'm always going to be there for you, no matter what. I'll never let anything or anyone hurt you."She snuggled deeper into his embrace, her fingers tracing gentle patterns on his chest. "I know you won't, Draco. I trust you completely." She paused, thinking for a moment. "You know, I was thinking...maybe we should have another little one after this one."Draco laughed, the vibration of it making her smile against his neck. "Another one? You're sure about that?" He kissed the top of her head. "I'd love to, of course. But let's focus on this one first, and see how things go." They watched a few more movies, cuddling together on the couch, before addie fell asleep in Draco's arms. He smiled, running his fingers through her hair, feeling content and happy. He knew this was what he wanted, what they both deserved. As the night wore on, he carefully transferred her to the bed, tucking her in and kissing her forehead. He was about to climb in beside her when his phone vibrated with a text from his father. He sighed, sitting up in bed, and responded to the message, promising to talk to his father about their concerns. As he put his phone down, he couldn't help but feel a weight settling in his chest. Despite the wonderful night he'd had with Addie, he knew there were still obstacles to overcome. But he was determined to face them together, and make their family the best it could be. Carefully, he climbed back into bed, pulling the covers up to his chin. He watched Addie sleep for a moment, her features soft and peaceful, before leaning in to kiss her forehead. She mumbled something incoherent and rolled over, her back to him. He smiled, relaxing against his pillow, and closed his eyes, trying to push his worries aside. But they were always there, lurking in the shadows. He couldn't help but wonder how they would navigate the challenges that lay ahead. Their families, their pasts, their reputations. He knew they could face them together, but sometimes it felt like the odds were stacked against them. Despite these concerns, he refused to dwell on them. Instead, he focused on the here and now, on the beautiful woman sleeping beside him. He traced a finger down her arm, marveling at the softness of her skin. She was everything he could have ever wanted in a partner, and he was determined to make sure their love prevailed.  As the days turned into weeks, they settled into a comfortable routine. Addie going back and froth from doctors appontments to make sure the babys helthy now being a month into her pregnancy. She would always come back to Draco with a glow on her face and a spring in her step, telling him about the baby's heartbeat and how strong it was. He was grateful that she was feeling well and that they could share this experience together.  When she wasn't at the doctor, they continued to spend time together, watching movies, going for walks, or just cuddling on the couch. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, touching on everything from their hopes and dreams for their future family to the challenges they faced as individuals. They talked about their pasts, their fears, and their regrets, always finding understanding and comfort in each other's arms."there's the bump" she giggled as she felt her belly. "I still can't believe this is all because of us." she smiled, nuzzling into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head.

"do you see it im showing"she cupped his hand, guiding it to the spot where she felt the baby moving the most. "There, feel that?" he gasped, his hand still pressed against her belly. "It's strong, just like you." She smiled up at him, her eyes shining with unshed tears. He wiped one away with his thumb, brushing it gently across her cheek."I still can't believe it sometimes," she admitted, her voice soft with awe. "It's like we're creating a little person together, you know? It's incredible." He nodded, his gaze locked on her face. "It is. It really is." They sat there in silence for a moment, lost in their own thoughts about the miracle growing within her.He traced a finger down her cheek, wiping away another tear. "You're strong, Addie," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "Stronger than you know." She turned her head, pressing a kiss to his palm."I don't feel strong," she admitted, her voice shaking. "Sometimes, I feel like I'm drowning. Like I can't keep up with everything." He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her."You are strong," he insisted. "You're the strongest person I know. You've been through so much, and you've come out of it all with your heart still intact. You've found a way to love again, to trust again. That takes incredible courage." She buried her face in his chest, her body shaking with silent sobs.

He stroked her hair, kissing the top of her head. "I'm here for you, Addie. Through everything. You don't have to go through this alone. I'm your partner, remember?" She nodded against his chest, finally letting go of the tears she'd been holding back. "I know it's hard sometimes," he continued, "but remember that we're in this together. We'll get through it together."
