A Kiss? (Chp 9)

"Alright then lets introduce you to the idiots." I laughed and let him pull me in the garage.
"Ok so Cougar, Ricky, Shawn, this is Sarrice. Sarrice Cougar Ricky and Shawn."
Cougar was the tall one with brown hair holding the amp cord. The one who called me hot. Shawn is the one with blonde hair with blue streaks and the one who teased Dash when we pulled in. Ricky has black hair with red in it and was sitting down.
"Hi!!" Cougar yelled and wrapped me in a hug.
"Hi there can you uh put me down?"
He did and then tackled Dash. Not in a hug but to the ground. Yanking his hand from mine.
"COUGAR GET THE FUCK OFF ME." He screamed.
"NEVER!" He yelled back.
I laughed and felt someone put their arm around my shoulder I looked up and saw Shawn standing there.
"So you're mystery girl Dash ditched us for?"
"Has he been ignoring you guys in sorry." I quickly said making him laugh.
"No no I was kidding he would randomly check out at practice and was late getting here then today you show up and yeah." He said.
"Hey I thought this was band practice not flirt with Dash's girlfriend." Cougar yelled standing up.
Dash didn't make a move to correct him so I didn't either.
He motioned me over to where he stood with his bass.
"So this is the bass I've heard nonstop about." I expressed.
"If you want to see a real instrument come check out this bad boy." Ricky yelled. I looked over and he had an electric blue peavey.
"It's alright wanna see a real guitar then come check out my brothers fender. Bright red beauty." He gaped at me.
"Your know guitars then?" He asked.
"Uh yeah I am in a band." Then all of them went silent.
"What? I must have misheard you. You are in a band?" Cougar asked.
"Uh yeah I play bass and guitar but I'm the bassist in the band."
"Huh." He said.
"Show us something then." Ricky said.
I walked to him and motioned to his guitar. He nodded and I took it.
"What song?"
"In the End Black Veil Brides." Dash said.
I smirked and began Jake's solo towards the end of the song.
When I finished I looked up to see Ricky Cougar and Shawns mouths wide open. I laughed and Dash wrapped his arms around me from behind.
"If you think that's good you should see how she plays bass." He said his breathe tickling my neck.
"By all means show up Dash." Ricky said.
"Fine wait here." I turned and ran to my car and grabbed Joker from the backseat.
"Hey so this is the Joker I've been hearing play in the demo." Dash announced.
"Haha ah you named your bass Joker? What is the car batman?" Cougar laughed.
"No that's my cat." I retorted.
"Ah ok."
"Dude I'm joking I don't have a cat just stop being an asshole." I said and he nodded.
"Did you name the car?" Shawn asked quietly. I laughed and nodded I grabbed his arm and brought him out to my car the others laughing and following.
"This is Cherri."
"Hi Cherri you are gorgeous." He said making us all laugh.
"Can we get to practice I actually have something to do after this." Dash said drawing us back to reality.
I smiled at him and he grinned back.
"Yeah come on guys." Cougar yelled.
"Hey I'll show you guys my bass skills later yall can come to our band practice sometime."
They all nodded eagerly and I laughed but put Joker up anyways.
I say on the hood of my car and watched as they tuned their instruments and began deciding on a song to play.
When the beginning cords began to Teenagers I laughed.
"Oh my god you guys are legends!!" I yelled and laughed.
Dash shook his head but was concentrated.
I couldn't help but stare at him as he got into playing jumping around and mouthing words. I glanced away quickly and saw Ricky watching me watch Dash. I blushed at being caught and he grinned.
Not ten minutes after they stopped playing their next last song a car pulled up behind mine. I turned around and saw two females get out and walk over.
"JESSA!" Ricky yelled and ran over as she laughed and he kissed her.
"Dude not in front of me she's my sister!" Cougar complained.
"Devin come here I missed my son." The older female yelled.
He stood up and ran over to her.
"That's Jessa and Mrs. C. Cougar's mom and sister. Jessa and Ricky date if you didn't figure that out." Dash said coming up to me and wrapping his arms around me.
"Mom, Jess, Dash has a girlfriend."
Cougar said excitedly.
Dash groaned and I laughed at him snuggling in his arms.
"Dash nothing to be ashamed of." Mrs. C. said.
She offered her hand to me.
"I'm Kristine and this is Jessa my daughter."
I took her hand and shook it.
"I'm Sarrice but everyone besides this pain in the ass call me Scar or Sary." They laughed and Dash made a sputtering noise.
I looked at him funny and he just laughed.
"We should get going Sary." I laughed and looked at him nodding.
"Where you two going?" Cougar asked.
He then received a slap to the head by Jessa.
"Don't be so nosy jerk." He glared at her.
"I think we'll be great friends." I said and she laughed at me.
"Seriously we need to go on I'm hungry." I laughed and pulled out of his embrace.
"Bye guys."Dash yelled and ran and got in the drivers side.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I yelled at him.
"Uh I'm driving." He said making it sound like a question.
I laughed again and nodded.
"You can drive come give an actual goodbye though." He jumped out and ran over to us.
"See you guys later then." He said giving them 'bro' hugs.
"Your not staying here tonight again?" Mrs. C. asked.
"I might I don't know I don't like taking over your house it was one thing me making sure he," he pointed to Cougar," doesn't burn the house down but I can't impose."
She shook her head.
"Nonsense your mom haas been busy at the hospital and I don't like you staying alone let me know when you'll be back." With that she hugged him and walked inside.
Jessa and Ricky waved and they got in her car and drove off.
"I'm staying here for a while with Cougar." Shawn said pulling me in a hug and I was surprised but hugged back. Then Cougar hugged me too.
"Bye guys." We waved and got in the car.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"A diner down the road that serves the best pizza I've ever tasted."
"Tony's?" I asked.
He turned to me excited.
"Yes! That's the best!"
"Oh my gosh I know right!!"
We both laughed and he pulled onto the main road driving a little ways down and pulled into the parking lot.
"Me, Matt and my older brother used to come meet here. He would ditch us and go do whatever with his friends, while we skated and broke bones."
He laughed and we got out of the car walking inside.
"What happened to him? You guys seemed close."
"He left with my mom a year after I was kicked out. They never looked for me." I sighed.
"Hey, but see where you are now?" He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.
"You are a brilliant girl and a musical prodigy. You're beautiful and funny. And not to mention you seem mentally stable but I don't know." I smiled at him and then laughed shoving his arm.
We sat down in a booth and ordered our food.
"Are you planning on staying at the hospital again tonight?" He asked.
"Probably not I miss my bed and Zeke's awake so no use in staying is there? Why?"
"Just wondering how long of a date I get." He grinned. I smiled at him.
They soon brought our food and I laughed as he automatically dug in and ate quickly.
"You're gonna give yourself the hiccups."
He smirked but slowed down. We soon finished eating and just talked for an hour.
"I have a question." I said.
"Well what is it?" He asked me.
"Why are you staying with Cougar?"
"My mom is having trouble with the house and with Daisy in remission it's been hard. Having cancer isn't cheap." He sighed and put his head in his hands.
I reached over the table and stroked his hand and he looked up.
"You'll figure it out. And if you want instead of staying with Cougar. I can come stay with you so you're not alone at night." I offered.
"You would? Really?"
"Of course." I said smiling.
"I'll let Mrs. C know then and we can head back watch some movies." He offered and I nodded he paid for the food and we got up.
While he was on the phone I texted Mom and Matt and let them know I was staying at Dash's tonight and Matt said he'd bring my clothes and glasses.
"We're all set on my end." I said as he hung up.
"Yeah good on mine too."
"Then let's go." We went to the car and drove to his house.
We entered and I could tell he hadn't been here in a while by the way he looked around.
Clothes were piled up and dishes as well.
"I'm sorry about the mess. We haven't really had time to clean up."
"You don't have to explain to me. I understand." I grabbed some clothes and put them in the washer.
"What are you doing?"
"Helping." I said as I turned around smiling.
He looked at me strangely but he began doing dishes while I started the clothes.
While they were going I picked up trash that was laying around and then helped him with dishes. Not long after we sat down tiredly on the couch, having finished working.
The door rang and I got up to answer it.
It was Matt with my clothes.
"You look awful." He said as I took my bag.
"Man you sure have a way with women." I said sarcastically.
"Well I gotta go since you're staying here Ma wanted to stay with Zeke, so Kalel is staying over."
"Seriously? Are you guys dating or what?"
"Uh."
"Yes or no."
"Yes kinda. We've been on dates and we both like each other but I haven't asked her out yet."
"Idiot ask her tonight."
He nodded and kissed my head, leaving.
"Ooh I smell popcorn." I said as I walked into the living room.
"Yeah I made some and put in a movie." Dash said. Placing some movie cases back.
"What are we watching?" I asked as I sat down.
"The Expendables." He said as he stood up and walked to the couch.
He sat down right beside me and put his arm behind my shoulders.
"I love this movie." He looked at me weirdly.
"What?" I asked smiling.
"Didn't peg you for the gory war movie type." He said laughing.
"Eh what can I say I'm in a band with a bunch of boys and live with one of them." I said shrugging.
He laughed and I leaned into his shoulder and laid my head on his chest. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer. We sat and watched the movie just like that.
I was beginning to get tired towards the end and noticed it was almost 1 in the morning.
"Hey it's almost 1." I said and he moved a little.
"Don't move." He said suddenly.
"What why?"
"Because I am too comfortable right now." I laughed at his remark.
Just to annoy him I stood up.
"Where you going?"
"To change." I looked in my bag and all he packed was clothes for tomorrow and my glasses with my make up.
I swore and he laughed.
"What's wrong?"
"Matt didn't pack me anything to sleep in." I said getting more frustrated.
"One second I'll be right back."
He ran upstairs and came back in plaid pajama pants no shirt and carrying one in his hand.
"Here you go." He handed it to me and pointed me to a bathroom.
I went and put it on. It was a black fall out boy shirt. I put it on and it went down almost to my knees. I laughed a bit then walked out.
"Not my size but it'll do." I said as I walked in the room.
He turned around and eyed me, looking at me from top to bottom. I smirked and struck a pose.
He started laughing at me.
I can't say I didn't eye him either he may not seem like it but he was fit. To say he had abs would be an understatement.
"Like what you see?" He joked with me. "Eh not really my taste but I'll get used to it." I said seriously.
"Ha ha you are just full of jokes aren't you?" He replied.
"Yes, yes I am." I said seriously again.
This time he came running after me and chased me around the living room.
He grabbed me from behind and spun me around. He then began tickling me and I laughed begging him to stop.
When he did I realized how we were standing.
Me in between his legs partially and him holding me up.
I think he noticed it about the same time I did. Because when I looked up so did he.
He smiled and slowly leaned towards me.
Our lips met and to say sparks flew would be joking.
We stood there kissing for what seemed like a few minutes when the door to the house opened quickly.
"Dash!" Cougar yelled coming in.
We pulled away and stood there embarrassed as he walked in.
"Oh oops sorry." He said walking into the living room.
"What man?" Dash said very annoyed.
I stepped behind him slightly, I mean I didn't have any pants on. Just a tee shirt.
"Uh I need you to take me somewhere." He said nervously.
"Now? It's 1:30 man."
"I know but it's serious."
"What's up? You can tell me." Dash asked seriously.
"Jessa, she called. Something about Ricky. She was really upset."
"Alright. I'm coming. Here go get in the car." He threw his keys to Cougar and he went to his room.
"Dash." I yelled running up to his room.
"Yeah?" He asked from the closet.
"I'm coming with you." I said.
"What why?" He poked his head out.
"Because she is a female and if she is upset she won't want her older brother and his best friend asking he questions."
He walked out and was pulling a shirt on.
"You can come." I hugged him.
"But I wouldn't wear that. I mean the tee shirt no pants works for me but I don't know about other people."
I punched his arm and ran downstairs and pulled my jeans on and my shoes. Keeping his shirt on and grabbing his zip up hoodie off the couch.
We went outside and got in the car.
"Why is she coming?" Cougar asked.
"Don't be rude C. She's gonna help us."
He looked at me in the rearview mirror and smiled.
"Where did she say she was?"
Cougar told him and we headed that way.
Not 15 minutes later we pulled up outside a bar and she was standing on the street in the rain.
Cougar made a move to get out but I held him back.
"Let me talk to her ok."
I got out and walked over to her.
"Jessa? It's me Sarrice. Dash's girlfriend."
"Yeah I remember you. What are you doing here?"
"I came with your brother to make sure you're ok. He was really scared when he asked us to help him." I reached her and at this point I was soaked.
"I cheated on him."
"What? Jessa I don't understand."
"Ricky. I was wasted and a guy came up and kissed me I thought it was Ricky so I kissed back then pushed him off when I realized it wasn't. I messed up Sarrice."
"No Jessa you made a mistake and you did the right thing pushing him off. Ricky will understand. But please come back to the house and dry off."
She nodded and pulled me into a hug. She whispered thanks in my ear.
We got to the car and the rain has slowly stopped.
"You look like a wet rat." Dash said to me while Cougar and Jessa talked.
"Yeah well you kissed this wet rat earlier." I joked back.
"Yeah wouldn't mind doing that again." He said pulling me towards him and kissing me again. I smiled into the kiss and pulled away when I heard Cougar clear his throat.
"Seriously? Let's go." We got back into the car but Cougar was driving with Jessa sitting next to him. Me and Dash sat in the back talking quietly.
I took off the wet jacket and put it down.
"When we get home I'm going to sleep." Dash said.
"Wow what a load of fun you are." I joked but yawned and he laughed.
"Oh hush it's almost 2:30 in the morning joke when we wake up in the morning." He yawned and rested his head on my shoulder.
I laid my head on his and closed my eyes.
I woke up to being carried.
I was then laid on a bed and my shoes pulled off and my pants then covers pulled over me.
"Dash you can come back in." I heard a quiet girl voice say.
"Thanks Jessa. Night."
"Night."
I heard the door close and he was fiddling around.
"Dash?" I asked quietly.
"Hey didn't mean to wake you." He said as he sat on the bed next to me.
"It's fine. You going to sleep?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna stay in the guest room."
"You can stay in here it won't bother me."
"You're sure?"
I nodded.
He pulled off his shirt and laid down next to me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him.
"Goodnight Dash."
"Night Sary." He kissed my head and we both fell asleep.

3 chapters in one day man am I good! Seriously though I've wasted most of this fine July day writing this story so be thankful lollll.
