Big Brothers and Trespassing (Chp 10)

"Dash." A voice said.
"Hey Dash wake up dude." Another voiced.
"Guys be quiet don't wake up Sarrice." A third one demanded.
Then I said,
"Too late." I opened my eyes and saw Cougar, Shawn, and another male standing over me and Dash.
"What the hell guys? Cougar how are you functioning?" I asked hiding my face in Dash's chest.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"It's 9 and you went to sleep what? 3 in the morning?"
I asked and he laughed.
"Oh sweetheart I didn't go to sleep." I lifted my head and looked at him like he was an alien.
"You know what I don't care just go away." I said dragging out the y.
"Yeah no. See we came to wake up Dash but get the lovely view of you two asleep so...WAKE UP!" Cougar yelled in our ears.
Dash jumped and glared at Cougar. I sat up and he hid his face in my shoulder.
"Mmmhmbmm." He said something but it was muffled in my shoulder.
"Dude? What the hell?" Shawn asked laughing.
He lifted his head slightly.
"What are you doing here?"
"Well a friend showed up on my doorstep and then Shawn came over we figured about 10 minutes later to come over and wake you up because Derek forgot his keys." Dash shot up when he heard the name Derek.
The other guy standing beside Shawn laughed.
"Hey little brother." Dash stood up and hugged the guy tightly.
"You need to warn me when you're coming to visit." Dash said smiling.
"Well next time text me that you have a girlfriend who is staying over will ya?" The guy said eyeing me.
"Oh uh Derek this is Sarrice, Sarrice this is my older brother Derek." Dash said. I waved and he laughed.
"Nice to meet you Sarrice. But if you don't mind I have some catching up to do with my brother." I nodded understanding.
"We'll wait downstairs." Cougar said bringing Shawn with him.
"Ill see you later ok?" Dash asked and I nodded.
"Wait downstairs and I'll say bye I have to get dressed." He nodded and pulled his brother out the door.
After they left I pulled on my dr pepper shirt and skinnies with holes in the knees. My converse were downstairs. I went in his bathroom and put on eyeliner and mascara. I took out my contacts and grabbed my glasses and slipped then on.
I grabbed my bag and Dash's now dry jacket and walked downstairs. I pulled on my shoes and went outside where the guys were standing.
"Hey Sarrice! What are your plans today?" Shawn asked me as I walked outside.
"Uh I'm not sure probably go to the hospital see Zeke then I have to have a band meeting but after 1 or 1:30 I have no plans. Why?" I asked.
"You wanna come skating with me and Cougar? Dash said you skateboard so wanna join?" He asked.
"Sure sounds fun. Where do you guys usually skate at?"
"Around the town park mostly."
"I know a place we can skate at." They nodded.
"Text us the time and place." Cougar yelled running across the road with Shawn waving.
"You gonna head out now?" Dash asked coming over.
"Yeah I guess give you and your brother time to see each other." I said quietly.
"I'll call you later maybe we can all go eat. You can bring your band." I nodded and hugged him.
"I'll check in on Daisy and your mom." I said as I hugged him.
"Thanks I'll see you later then." He said.
"Yeah. Bye boyfriend." I joked he laughed then kissed me quickly.
"Bye girlfriend." I waved at Derek who grinned at me.
I got in my car and backed out and Dash waved. I waved back then pulled down the road. I looked in the mirror and saw Derek messing with Dash's hair.
I smiled and went to the hospital and parked.
I called Benji and told him to come to the hospital we needed to talk then got Damion and Will. Matt was already here and so was his mom.
I walked into Zeke's room and he looked up startled.
"What the hell are you doing up before 12?" I laughed at him
"Dash's friends decided to be assholes." I said shrugging.
"You stayed with him last night?" He asked.
"Yeah but that's not important I called a band meeting it's important."
"What's up Sar?" He asked.
Matt and Benji walked in at the moment.
"Tany and Mama T are on the way they got some food." Benji said as they walked in and sat down.
"So them and Will and Damion. Then I can tell you guys."
They just groaned and whined about 10 minutes later everyone was here. They all turned to me expectantly.
"Well?" Damion asked.
"I got a call yesterday before coming here with Dash....From Zach."
"Zach who's Zach?"
"He is from the record company we sent our demo to. After the accident they asked if we could send another copy in. So I did."
"AND?!!" They all yelled.
"WE ARE GETTING SIGNED!!"
We all started yelling and jumping around hugging each other.
Matt and Zeke had tears in there eyes.
"That's not all."
"What?" They all turned to me.
"We have a tour to prepare for." I said excitedly.
"Oh my gosh no way." Matt yelled and picked me up.
We all were excited and yelling till a doctor came in and told us to be quiet.
"Ok so what do we need to do?"
"We have to go in and perform for the head of the label and the band we are touring with. Damion and Will have to come to learn about being a manager and all."
We all talked about everything and joked for a while.
Everyone was heading out and Zeke asked me to stay for a few minutes.
"I'm leaving later and Tany is picking me up. What are you going to be doing?"
"Some of Dash's friends invited me to go skate so I'm going to take them to the pit and then go eat with Dash everyone is invited so we'll get food and come to your place. So let Benji Matt and Tany know. DD and Will went to meet at the label." I said he nodded and I gave him a hug.
"Please be careful Sarrice. I don't want you to get hurt."
"I won't get hurt Zeke I can take care of myself you know." I snapped.
"I know you think you can Sarrice but you can't! Your still a little girl!"
"I'm not a little girl Zeke! And you're not my older brother! No matter how much you think you are your not so stop treating me like you are! I'm not a fragile piece of glass that will break because of a break up! Stop worrying about me and start worrying about you!" I pointed at him and yelled.
I yelled goodbye over my shoulder grabbing my jacket and storming out.
"Sarrice!" I heard him yell but I kept walking.
My phone began ringing and I saw it was Zeke so I ignored it.
Then it rang again still Zeke so I ignored it again.
It rang again so I answered it yelling,
"WHAT ZEKE?!"
"Woah kid it's Cougar."
"Oh sorry cougar me and a friend just got in a fight."
"Your fine. So Dash called him and Derek are gonna meet us and go skate, but Derek doesn't have a board here do you have an extra or maybe your brother?"
"Uh yeah I can swing by and get you guys then stop at my house."
"Cool you on your way now?"
"Yeah, need me to grab anything from a store?"
"Nah- wait some red bull?" He added quickly.
"I don't think you need any red bull." I said.
"Not just for me for everyone else." I laughed at him.
"I'll get some red bull." I sighed and hung up.
I stopped by a gas station and grabbed two 12 packs of red bull, and some gum.
I then made my way to Cougar's house. I pulled in the driveway and watched as Dash ran behind Cougar and jumped on his back knocking off the green beanie on his head.
Shawn Derek and...Ricky stood there laughing. Ricky also wearing a weird beanie but his was white. I sucked in a sharp breath when I watched Cougar throw him down and started hitting him.
"You better not be hurting him Cougar! If you are you don't get your red bull!"I yelled walking in front of the car.
He stopped automatically and ran over to me.
"Uh sorry?" I laughed and pointed to the passengers seat.
He ran over and grabbed a can and threw one to Shawn and Derek.
Dash was still laying on the ground.
"Dude you ok?" Derek asked.
"No."
I jumped up and ran over to him. Cougar, Derek, and Shawn moved as well.
"Hey what's wrong?" I asked squatting next to him.
"Nothing now." He jumped up and tackled Cougar spilling his red bull.
"Noooo!" He cried and fell to his knees beside the red bull.
I stood up and hit Dash on the back of the head.
"Ow!" He said looking at me, I stood there with my hands on my hips and head cocked to the side.
"Uh oh. Dashhhh look out she's dangerous." Cougar said.
"I personally like the way you handle my brother." Derek said grinning.
I laughed and Dash stood up.
He smirked at me and proceeded to run towards me. I ran behind my car and jumped on the trunk. I grabbed on to the tree branch above it and climbed in the tree.
"Ok what the hell are you a fucking monkey or something?" Dash asked standing below the tree.
"Uh no but I've been climbing trees and breaking bones since I was 5." I said laughing.
I heard a car pull up and I looked and saw Matt and Kalel walking over to Dash. I pulled my legs up and motioned that I wasn't here.
They all grinned and laughed.
"Hey Dash." Matt called as he walked over.
"Matt, Kalel." He nodded.
"Where's Sarrice at? She said to bring a skateboard over here."
"Uh I don't know she was here a second ago."
"Dash where is she?" Matt said annoyed.
I jumped down right behind him and landed quietly.
"BOO!"
"Ah damn it Sarrice!!" Kalel yelled at me.
I laughed as well as all of the guys around us.
"I hate you. You know that don't you?" I laughed at Matts remark.
"Guys come here." Dash called them over.
"This is Matt, my best friend I live with him and this is Kalel his girlfriend."
I explained.
"Damn it!! Why do all of the pretty ones have boyfriends!" Cougar yelled falling to his knees looking to the sky.
Kalel jumped back startled by the yelling.
"I thought you were happily married to red bull and your drums?" I asked sarcastically.
"Well yeah but pretty girls don't hurt when added." He said.
I scoffed and he grinned at me.
"So you guys still coming Zeke's tonight ?" Matt asked everyone and I stiffened. Dash moved his arm from around my shoulder and looked at me.
"What's wrong?"
I shook my head and he nodded.
"Uh Dash? Are we going to go?" Derek asked.
"Yeah and I want you two to come too so no getting out of it." Dash said to Cougar and Shawn.
"Fine well Sarrice wanna head out?" Shawn asked and I nodded.
Matt and Kalel said goodbye and left.
"Grab your boards five can ride with me." I said, it would look weird with six males and one female walking down the road one riding a bike wearing a green beanie.
"But that leaves one alone." Ricky pointed out.
"We can all fit in your car. Sarrice you can sit on my lap." Dash said to me and I nodded.
"Well let's go then." We all headed to my car and Derek, Shawn, and Cougar sat in the back I sat on Dash's lap in the front and Ricky was driving.
"Go down Oxford Lane and take a left at the red light." I said as we drove.
Cougar and Shawn were fighting over what cd was better.
"What next?" Ricky asked me.
"Turn down the alley on the right. Then drive down to the other end and park at the two trees." I said.
"Where are we going?" Dash asked me.
"You'll see." I smirked.
Ricky pulled up and parked. We all climbed out and I watched as they looked around in confusion.
"Sarrice what the hell there is nothing out here."
"Follow me." I said and they walked after me with their boards.
I walked not 20 feet from the car and pushed a door to the warehouse open revealing the pit.
"What the hell? How did you find this place?" Dash asked me.
"Me and Matt liked to run away when we were kids and when we were 14 we ran into this warehouse, we walked in and looked down and saw the half pipe and all the skating equipment. We would come back every day and move stuff around and fix up the breaking equipment."
They all looked at me and most shook their heads.
"Girly you cease to amaze me." Dash said pulling me close to him and kissing my cheek.
"Well we gonna skate or what?" I asked running into the warehouse and threw down my board skating into the ramps. I sat at the edge of the drop off. I watched as the guys yelled and raced each other laughing.
I jumped when Dash dropped down beside me.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."
"It's fine." I shrugged.
"So we need to talk." I looked up at him quickly.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Are we a couple? I mean everyone's called us that but we never talked about it." He said and I let out a breath I didn't think I was holding.
"I- is that a bad thing? To be a couple?" I asked quietly my heart racing and breaking at the same time.
"No that's not what I meant. I'm just confused." He put his head in his hands.
"Why are you confused? Do you want to be a couple?" I asked defensively.
"Well yes of course."
"Then that's your answer." I said standing up smiling but taking a risk anyways.
He stood up too towering over me smiling.
"So that's your answer? Yes?"
I smiled and looked up.
"Yes. I'll be your girlfriend."
He laughed and pulled me close to him.
"That's good because I want to be your boyfriend." My heart began beating faster if possible.
My smile grew so big it hurt.
"You have no idea how happy that makes me." I said meeting his eyes. I reached my hand up and brushed his hair back from his forehead.
"You need to let me dye your hair." I said.
He laughed at my randomness.
"Maybe if you do something for me."
"Anything."
He pulled me closer if possible and kissed me. I was surprised but kissed back. It turned from gentle to passionate quickly.
We kissed for a while and heard wolf whistles and cat calls from the guys without hesitating we both flipped them off.
"Oh oops!" The door to the pit was now open and we jumped apart and looked that way.
There were four males standing there and two females.
Dash pushed me behind him.
"I thought you said nobody knew about this place?" He whispered to me.
"No one does." I said looking at him.
"Guys?" Cougar,Derek, Shawn, and Ricky all climbed out of the pit.
They moved to us and stood around us.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Derek asked.
"I'm Gabe Cercer. These are my friends." The tallest said staring at us. "And who are you?"
"I'm Derek Salters, and I'm gonna ask again why are you here? We've been coming here for years and no one else has ever been here." He lied from what I told them earlier.
"I came here as a teenager I wanted to see if it was still here and I brought my friends along."
Derek turned and looked at me and I shrugged.
"We'll leave you to your sentiments but don't come back." Derek warned.
"What is this private property?" Gabe asked smugly.
Then I moved forward.
"Actually yes it is." I said. And everyone looked at me confused.
"My family owns this warehouse space. So if I come back tomorrow and you're here then I'll file a complaint." I said seriously.
"C'mon guys lets go." Dash stepped forward and grabbed my hand pulling me out. The rest of the group followed.
"Sarrice?" I heard a female say.
I turned and saw our new neighbor standing there.
"Fucking hell." I muttered and Dash stepped back beside me protectively.
"Alicia." I nodded my head.
"You two know each other?" One of the other males asked.
"Yeah this is one of the people who live next door. Remember I helped her friend pick up some boxes the other week." She said.
"Yeah thanks but we're leaving." This time we got in the car and drove off.
I started laughing and so did the others.
"You didn't tell me it was private property." Dash said.
"Well I mean technically it's not even my property. It's my dad's." I said smugly.
He laughed and the others looked confused.
"What?"
"I was kicked out when I was 15. Disowned really but I kept my dads last name. Maybe 4 months ago he got in contact with me again. So I've been in touch with him. Apparently he's known we've been skating there since I was disowned and continued paying for the lot space. He bought it when he realized me and Matt kept going there to practice for competitions." I explained.
"Why did you get kicked out?" Derek asked.
Dash looked at me and I smiled a little.
"My mom and I were fighting when I came back after curfew. I said some choice things and something I was trying to keep quiet slipped out."
"What?" Cougar asked.
"That's enough guys!" Dash protested.
I looked at him and silenced him.
"I told my parents I'm bisexual." Dash just shook his head and the others were quiet.
"By all means yell at me or whatever I'm used to it."
"So you like male and female?" Ricky asked.
"I prefer male but if it came down to it yes I do find women attractive." I explained.
"Dude...." Cougar started.
"That's like an awesome superpower. You could live longer than anyone."
I began laughing and so did the other guys.
"Dude you are ridiculous." Dash said laughing.
"Hey I wanted to make her feel better and it worked didn't it?" I smiled and he just shrugged making us laugh again.
"So like what's the odds of two bisexual people dating?" Shawn asked.
"Like female female or male male or male female?" I asked.
"Uh all three?" He asked again.
"Well pretty high I guess considering that me and Sarrice are dating." Dash said.
The guys all looked at him weird and I laughed.
"Dude your bisexual?" Ricky asked.
"Yeah I told mom and Daisy a few days ago and Derek this morning.
"Cool." Was all Cougar said and I grinned at him.
"Can we hurry please I have to pee." I stated loudly.
"Ew gross Scar need to know. Need. To. Know." Cougar said laughing.
"What we all pee.. Unless you're an alien."
"An avenging alien." Dash finished for me and I laughed.
"So guys decide on a band name yet?" Derek asked.
"Yep Shawn and the ghouls." Shawn joked.
"Hey stupid ghouls are female ghosts." Ricky said.
"Fine uh Shawn and the fucktards. Is that better?" He said making us laugh.
"No it's Kids Underground." Dash said.
"Thats really cool." Derek said.
"Hey we are here guys." Ricky said pulling up to Zeke's house. I sighed and got out. Waiting for the others.
This is going to be a long night.
