Coffee's Creamer [ Alhaitham x reader ]

Not Strangers

Y/N took her time waking up that morning.  Since she heard the chatter of customers from down stairs, she knew that Alsace had already opened up the cafe for her.  Y/N expected the new employee, Eva, to arrive pretty soon to help Alsace out.

Y/N got out of bed and prepared herself or the trip to Sumeru.  She did have the choice to return home everyday, but a part of her did miss the culture in Sumeru.  The some nights were more lively than Liyue so she hoped to be able to relive those days again.  Y/N got changed into her everyday clothes, Liyue attire, hoping that Sumeru natives wouldn't judge her.  All the Sumeru clothes she had were uniforms from her time learning there.   The uniforms were probably outdated already anyways.  Y/N got to packing the last of her supplies.

"Toothbrush, check.  Waymark card, check.  Money, check. Notebook for notes and things, check." Y/N mumbled to herself as she got the last bit of packing done.

Suddenly she remembered, "Right I need my Akasha Terminal.  Ooo and my old library card, can't forget about that."

(Akasha Terminal is that glowing ear piece that Sumeru citizens wear)

Once she was done triple checking her supplies, she grabbed her bag of things and headed down stairs.

"Good morning Alsace and Eva," Y/N said to the two workers.

Alsace and Eva looked at Y/N and waved at her.  Both of them responded with a good morning.

Y/N continued, "Slow morning?"

"Yep, it's a Monday after all," Alsace said.

Eva added, "It'll get busier again at around 10 am right?"

Y/N nodded, "Exactly."

"And by any chance could I get a cup of coffee?" Y/N asked. 

Alsace jokes, "Sure, it's on the house."

"Gee thanks, it's almost like I'm the owner." Y/N responded with sarcasm.

Eva added, "What kind of coffee would you like this morning?"

"It'll be my breakfast, so can I have a coffee with a salty and sweet cream cap (or whatever your favorite coffee order is)." Y/N said.

"Coming right up," Eva said as she began to make her the drink.

Once Y/N got her drink, she thanked Eva.

Y/N said her goodbyes to the new employees, "Anyways I'll be leaving right now.  Take care of the shop for me, you guys will do great!  Say hi to Urther for me too."

Alsace and Eva waved Y/N a goodbye when she left the shop.  Y/N made her way to the nearest waypoint, which is the one right in front of her cafe.  She looked around to take in one last view of Liyue city.  She looked at the Second Life grocery stand and over to the Alchemy station.  She took one last look at her cafe before deciding to leave.

With the waymark card in hand, she tapped it on the waypoint and she clicked the nearest waypoint to the entrance of Sumeru city. Within seconds, she was transported there.

As soon as Y/N made it to the Southern part of Sumeru City, she took out her notebook.  The notebook that she brought contained notes about the trip and what she planned to do.  It was basically a planner.  The notebook also had extra sheets so that Y/N could take notes on the new ingredients she wanted to collect. Eventually it would be used to make recipes.

Y/N flipped past the Inazuma plans and over to the Sumeru vacation plans.

She mumbled to herself, "Okay so I made it to the Southern side of the city, now to find Treasure's Street."
