Fourth leisurely fluttered his eyes open, triggered by the faint breaths fanning over his face.

He blinked the sleep out of his eyes, suddenly becoming aware of his surroundings. In front of him stood a man, whose stare burned holes into Fourth's face as he scanned it thoroughly.

Fourth's eyes widened in shock, swiftly noticing the white mask sticking to his face. He jolted up in surprise, causing the latter to stand upright, caught off guard by the sudden gesture.

"Jesus," a familiar voice ringed through Fourth's ears, causing him to relax. "What is it now?"

"Gemini?" He questioned, rubbing the dizziness out of his eyes. "Why were you here? For god's sake; why were you watching me in my sleep?"

"Watching you?" Gemini tilted his head, taking the mask off of his face. He rubbed the product into his face, flashing Fourth a confused expression. "You called out for me, so I was trying to figure out whether you were awake or not."

"And your reason for being here?" Fourth mumbled, pulling the blanket over his body.

"It's my place," Gemini explained, gaze traveling to the pillow and blanket on the ground. "You fell asleep by accident."

Fourth took a moment to look around, gasping when he noticed where he was. He bit his bottom lip, unable to recall the memories from last night.

"How did I end up here?" He questioned, face flushing in embarrassment.

"That's for you to figure out," Gemini pursed his mouth into a thin line, "You were drunk out of your head, though."

"Don't mention it." He groaned, covering his face.

"You asked..." 

Fourth remained silent for a moment, breathing a sigh of frustration as he attempted to recall what had happened. The sound of Gemini moving around was the only thing being heard as he relaxed into his own thoughts; for the sake of remembering the events from the night before.

And god, he wishes he didn't.

He's glad Gemini was faced the other way, as his face gave everything away. Like an idiot, he embarrassed himself in front of Gemini, asked if he was jealous, and had the audacity to pass out immediately afterwards.

He forced his eyes shut, feeling goosebumps breakout across his arms. As if things couldn't get any worse, he had to go ahead and add insult to the injury.

"Here." Gemini handed him a bottle of water.

"What?" Fourth muttered, hesitating to reach out and grab it.

"Water," his gaze traveled down to Fourth's chin, and the raven could've sworn he glimpsed at his lips for a moment, but that might be due to his headache. "Helps with your hangover."

Fourth accepted it, breath hitching when his fingers accidentally brushed against Gemini's. He turned in the other direction instantly, suddenly feeling his throat go dry.

He took a sip of the water, stealing a swift glance Gemini's way, whose gaze was settled on him. He choked on his own spit, rather caught off guard by the action. Why's he openly staring at Fourth?

He's staring as if nothing happened.

"Don't think we're friends just 'cause I came here drunk," he uttered, tone more serious. "This doesn't change anything that happened."

"I know," Gemini crossed his arms, leaning against his desk. "I'm glad you came, though."

"Don't do this," Fourth paused for a moment, clicking his teeth before he moved to grab his stuff. "For the love of God, Gemini; just, please."
