The café buzzed with quiet chatter as Jisoo and Taehyung found a table in the corner, surrounded by her colorful paintings. Taehyung removed his mask, making sure they were in a secluded spot, and Jisoo couldn’t help but notice his striking features.
"So, what inspires your work?" Taehyung asked, genuinely interested.
Jisoo thought for a moment. "Life, really. The struggles and the little moments of joy. I want my paintings to capture the stories of people who often go unnoticed."
"I can see that," Taehyung said, nodding appreciatively. "There's something very honest and raw about them."
"And you?" Jisoo asked, her curiosity piqued. "Do you create anything?"
Taehyung hesitated, debating how much to reveal. "I sing, mostly. And sometimes, I paint. It's more of a private thing, though."
"That's wonderful!" Jisoo exclaimed. "I'd love to see your work someday."
"Maybe," Taehyung replied with a shy smile. "If you promise to show me more of yours first."
As the night went on, they shared stories about their lives, dreams, and inspirations. Jisoo found herself drawn to Taehyung's sincerity and the warmth in his eyes. Taehyung, in turn, felt a deep connection to Jisoo, one that transcended the boundaries of their different worlds.
As the café began to close, Taehyung handed Jisoo a piece of paper with his number on it. "I'd love to continue our conversation sometime."
Jisoo took the paper, surprised and touched. "I'd like that too. Thank you for tonight."
As Taehyung left the café, he glanced back at Jisoo, a small smile playing on his lips. He felt lighter, as if he'd found something he didn't even know he was looking for.
