Their friendship blossomed, but Jisoo couldn't shake the feeling that Taehyung was hiding something. He always wore a mask and cap, and their meetings were in out-of-the-way places. One evening, as they painted in her apartment, she decided to confront him.
"Taehyung, why do you always wear a mask and cap?" Jisoo asked, turning to face him. "It's like you're hiding from something."
Taehyung froze, his brush suspended in mid-air. He knew he couldn't keep his secret any longer. Taking a deep breath, he set down his brush and turned to Jisoo. "There's something I need to tell you."
Before he could continue, the TV flickered on, broadcasting a news segment about BTS. Jisoo's eyes widened as she looked from the screen to Taehyung and back again.
"Taehyung? You're... Taehyung from BTS?" she whispered, her voice filled with shock.
Taehyung nodded, his heart pounding. "Yes, it's me. I wanted to tell you, but I didn't know how. I didn't want my fame to get in the way of our friendship."
Jisoo stared at him, trying to process the revelation. "I understand," she said finally, her voice soft. "But why didn't you trust me enough to tell me sooner?"
"I was scared," Taehyung admitted, his eyes pleading for understanding. "I didn't want you to see me differently."
Jisoo took a deep breath, her eyes searching his. "It's a lot to take in. But I get it. Just... no more secrets, okay?"
Taehyung smiled, relief flooding through him. "I promise."
