Their peaceful afternoon was interrupted by the arrival of a courier with a mysterious package addressed to Taehyung. Puzzled, he opened it to find a small, ornate box and a letter.

"What's this?" Jisoo asked, leaning in to see.

Taehyung unfolded the letter, his expression darkening as he read the contents. "It's from my family," he said, his voice tense. "They want me to come back home immediately. There’s something urgent I need to take care of."

Jisoo's heart sank. "Are you in trouble?"

"No, it's not like that," Taehyung reassured her, though he looked troubled. "It's more complicated. I need to go back to Daegu and deal with some family issues."

Jisoo nodded, feeling a pang of worry. "When do you have to leave?"

"Tomorrow," Taehyung replied, folding the letter and slipping it back into the box. "I’m sorry, Jisoo. I didn't want our time together to be cut short."

"It's okay," Jisoo said, forcing a smile. "Family comes first. Just promise me you'll come back."

"I promise," Taehyung said, taking her hand. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

The next day, as Jisoo watched Taehyung board the train to Daegu, she couldn't shake the feeling that something more was at play. The box, the urgent summons—it all seemed too sudden. Determined to stay positive, she threw herself into her work, hoping that Taehyung would return soon.
