Alex has always been amazed by the wonders of Pokemon and now that he's turned 16 its time for him to venture out into the world of Pokemon to acheive his dream of becoming champion .
Alex wakes up and decides to check the TM shop for move to help against Fantina the ghost type gym leader. He scrolls through all the tms and a few catch his eye: Shadow ball and Dark pulse. He ultimately decides to buy Dark pulse and teach it to Zorua. After a bit of planning Alex walks to Fantina's gym and enters the building. Alex walks in and Fantina is there waiting for challengers. Alex: "I'm here to challenge the gym." Fantina: "Very well let's get this over with."
Fantina sends out her first Pokémon Duskull and Alex sends out Zorua. Alex had come up with a foolproof strategy to win the battle and all he needed was Zorua. Alex: "Zorua use double team!" Zorua created a bunch of copies of itself hiding the real one. Alex: "Now Zorua use Nasty plot!" A sinister smile appeared on all the copies and Zorua's special attack rose sharply. Fantina: "Duskull use shadow sneak!" Duskull began attacking but kept failing to find the real Zorua. Alex: "Zorua Nasty plot Again!" Once again a sinister smile appeared on the faces of all the clones and Zorua's special attack rises again. Alex: "Now Zorua! Dark Pulse!" An orb of darkness forms in Zorua's hands before she thrusts her hands toward Duskull firing a beam of darkness at the enemy. Duskull is sent flying on impact and Duskull is knocked out by the attack. Fantina: "This just got interesting. Duskull return! Go Haunter!" Fantina: "Haunter use Shadow Ball." Haunter begins firing shadow balls at all the copies while staying high in the air where it can easily dodge Dark pulse. Alex: "Chase Haunter into the air!" Zorua's copies help throw her into the air near Haunter. Fantina: "Haunter can still dodge your dark pulses!" Alex: "Who says Zorua is going to use dark pulse! Zorua Snarl!" Zorua lets out a powerful snarl that covers the entire area around it knocking out Haunter. Fantina: "Haunter return! Go Mismagius!" Fantina sends out her final Pokémon, Mismagius. Fantina: "Mismagius use Magical leaf!" Mismagius launches a barrage of magic leaves covering the entire area and getting rid of all Zorua's copies from double team. Fantina: "Now use your strongest Shadow ball!" Mismagius focuses as a massive Shadow ball forms in front of it which it fires at Zorua. Alex: "Zorua use Dark pulse!" Zorua Focuses as a large orb of Darkness forms in her hands and she fires a giant Dark pulse at the Mismagius which clashes with the shadow ball. The attacks begin pushing against each other until the Dark pulse pierces the Shadow ball causing it to dissipate. Zorua's Dark pulse connects with Mismagius and almost blows a hole in the ceiling. When the dust clears Mismagius is unconscious and Zorua is the victor. Fantina: "That was an intense battle, I wasn't expecting a strategy like that from you." She walks over to Alex and hands him the the Relic Badge which he slots into his Pokédex.
Alex leaves the gym with his new badge and decides to explore route 209 to the east of Hearthome City. He battles a few trainers along the way but while walking through some tall grass he runs into a wild Pokémon. A wild Ralts appeared! Alex: "Woah a Ralts, I've gotta catch it!" Alex sent out Zorua. Alex: "I want to catch this one Zorua." Zorua replies with a slight nod. Alex: "Zorua use Snarl!" Zorua let out a snarl which knocked the Ralts onto it's back. Alex took the opportunity to throw a pokeball. The pokeball opened up and a light emerged that surrounded the Ralts and pulled it into the ball. After shutting the ball began to wiggle around until it clicked meaning that Ralts had been caught.
Alex pressed the button on the ball to let Ralts out. A bright light emerged from the Pokémon and out came Ralts. Ralts now looked more humanoid and was now about 4'8.

Alex: "I'm glad to have you on the team!" Ralts replied with and excited nod.
Alex continued through route 209 along the way Ralts evolved into Kirlia.

Kirlia was around 5'5 and much stronger than Ralts.
Eventually Alex arrived in Solaceon town and decided to pop into the Pokémon centre to heal up his Pokémon. _____________________________________
