Episode 2: Shattered Pt.1

~3rd Person POV~

~Location: Green Hill~

We see Y/n and B/F running towards the location of the new side mission. B/F decided to ask Y/n a question

B/F: Bro, quick question. How'd you know where to find me?

Y/n: Well, it was easy. I watched the show and noticed that Shadow didn't come to punch me in the face like he usually would to Sonic

~Flashback~

We see Y/n, Amy, Knuckles, Tails, and Rouge all on top of the loop-de-loop. Amy was trying to think of a plan to stop Eggman from getting the Paradox Prism

Amy: Let's stick together and we'll-

The blue hedgehog interrupted her by jumping off the loop-de-loop and running off

Y/n: I'll meet you all there!

Tails: Sonic!

The two-tailed fox screamed out his friends name, but it was too late. The blue blur did his name sake and blasted off at the speed of sound. The rest of the group look at him with disappointment

Amy: I guess he didn't hear the "stick together" part

Knuckles: Does he ever?

Tails: No. But he also hasn't let us down when it really counts. You know Sonic. He'll catch up at some point

The scene quickly cuts off and we see the group go all flying toward the mountain. Rouge was flying normally, while Amy, Tails, and Knuckles all rode in the Tornado plane. As they got closer, they saw the destroyed EggCrusher and the crater that Y/n left behind when he attacked it

Tails: Wow! Are you guys seeing this? Look at the fault line. It goes right up the mountain

He says, pointing out the various cracks that leads up the mountain. Amy looked up to see smoke covering the top of the mountain

Amy: Anyone noticing that? That cloud hasn't moved an inch... something's unnatural... Tails!

Tails: Already on it!

Tails flys the plane up the mountain, with Rouge following closely behind all of them. They fly through the smoke-cloud, arriving at the top of the mountain where they see a bunch of badniks standing guard

Tails: Whoa... do you think Sonic's in there?

Rouge: With all those badniks still standing?

Knuckles: Our pal's not exactly the stealthy type

Tails: We got here before him? How?

Tails began to think to himself. Amy interrupted his think

Amy: Find a landing spot. Let's find out what's going on

The group all descend towards the ground. Little did they know, Y/n watched them

Y/n: Sorry, guys. But I gotta find Shadow. Maybe I can convince him to join us if we fight

The blue hedgehog continued to run down the lush grass of Green Hill, looking for the black and red hedgehog. He was collecting rings, which was a strange feeling for him

Y/n: Wow... and we never see rings again after the first two episodes of Sonic Prime...
