The Child of Phobos

So.. let me explain. (Character info)

Hi 👋 this is my first pjo story, and it will be the first book of a series of pjo stories I will be making. I won't be using Rick Riordan's version of Phobos and Deimos because of their roles as parents rather than annoying siblings in this story, but I'll probably reference it every once in a while and keep a little of the annoying siblings. I will be switching pov's but it'll mostly be Saige's

Name: Saige Alexander

Species: Greek demigod, lives at Camp Half-blood

Age: 12. Was brought to Camp when she was only 3 and was basically raised by Chiron & Mr. D.

Birthday: May 15th, 2000

Description: messy, black hair that goes down to her shoulder blades, usually tied back into a ponytail, dark red color eyes that glow when using her powers, and turn fully black when using intense amounts of power, slightly tanned olive skin from being in the sun most days, around 5'3 in height, pretty athletic build from all the training and activities, like most demigods.

godly parent: Phobos, god of Fear, Panic, & Rout

Mortal parent: Ava Alexander

Abilities:
-Phobikinesis, ability to control fear.
- Knows a person's fear just by looking at them.
- Can be strengthened by fear.
-Can "smell" fear, the more scared a person is, the stronger the scent.
- High resistance to fear and terror, but is not immune.
- Can summon a person's fear (needs more power than other abilities)
- Can send a small group into battlefield rout, making them run away/retreat in panic/fear (needs more power than other abilities)
- Skilled in chariot riding/using other vehicles while wielding a weapon.
- Knowledge of a variety of weapons and can learn how to use a weapon very quick. Also has a knowledge of battle strategies.

Backstory: Saige was born to Ava Alexander and Phobos on May, 15th, 2000. Her parents met at a movie theater, being the only ones there during the showing of a new horror film. They bonded because of their love of horror films and, over time, started dating. Eventually, Ava had Saige and was left to take care of her. Saige was described to be a powerful demigod that attracted a fair amount of monsters by the age of three. Growing up, her dad wasn't around much but had left the house, where Saige and her mom lived, under a protection barrier against the monsters. Because her powers were strong at such a young age, she virtually had no control over them. This caused her mom to go slowly mad from the constant nightmares and living in fear to the point where she could no longer take care of Saige or handle the powers she didn't know the child had. Not wanting her to go into the foster care system at such a young age, Phobos took three year old Saige from her home in North Carolina to Long Island, New York, where she would be safe at Camp Half-blood. There, he claimed her in person and asked Chiron to raise and take care of until she was old & strong enough to survive in the mortal world.

Fun fact: Percy Jackson is about 7 years older than Saige. So in 2012, when the story takes place, Persassy would be 19 years old. Clarisse would be around 21 years old and Piper would be 18 years old. _________________________________________________________________
