I will always be a single plant inside a window seal that craves for the warmth of your sunlight,
As crazy as others might think it may be, I'll chase that warm yellow sunshine against my growing leaves.I kept chasing something that I knew I deserved,
I know I do, I just had to try a little harder to reach,
When I finally did reach you, you're projecting on another angle,
Giving all your warmth to someone who didn't make an effort the way I did,
That made me wonder, "Did I move a little too slow? Didn't I do enough?".That other plant just existed but somehow it got the thing I've worked hard for,
I've only wasted my time and effort,
No matter what I do, you'd always move your rays away whenever I came after you.
