Chapter four

I walk downstairs as I feel severely hungover, and like shit. I walk into the dining room, my parents, and grandparents are sitting here.

"Okay,let's  get all the secrets out on the table, you want my forgiveness? Fine. No mom lies, no more secrets." I say with a sturn tone in my voice

"Alright then"my dad says as everyone else is looking at me like I'm dumb

" alright honey, so first your real parents are Noel & Craig Surfent, my brothers and his wife. Right after you were born they both decided they wanted to live off grid because they didn't wanna follow the rules of sharing their lives with humans. Your father was a werewolf like my family and your mother was a a witch, and a vampire. Meaning you aren't only a werewolf, but also a witch and vampire. Making you the strongest immortal to exist. You are a hybrid immortal. Also the only one of your kind." My dad says looking at me with a serious look.

"Okay but why didn't my real parents want me?" I say kinda hurt but understanding

"Because where your parents created a hybrid by mixing species, if anyone ever found out they would be killed and so would you. So for your safety and theirs, they decided it would be in everyone's best interest, if we adopted you and they went off grid." My father explains

" okay so I can't tell another living soul, outside of this room?" I ask

"Yes, but if you was to marry you would have no choice but to tell your spouse, so they would know the risks."my mother states

"Okay so why do they have to be here for me to know this?" I ask confused

"Because we are also a different kind as well, your father and biological father both got the werewolf genes, but I and your grandmother are tribids. Meaning we are werewolf's, vampires, and sirens. But we aren't as dangerous as you because we don't have the witch gene. Over the last 40 years we have been creating a book to help others like us control their abilities alone and together. And it's time we give it to you" my grandfather explains pushing the book towards me.

" wow that's a lot to take in, I don't really know what to say to that, but thank you guys for being honest with me" I say as I take the book and make my way up the door to go to school.

"Hey are you ok?" Jake says as I bump into him, because I am in my head thinking about everything.

"Y~yeah I'm fine" I say as I look into his eyes

"Your not, let's take a walk, I know a spot" he says smiling

" but I don't wanna miss the letcher" I say as I look at him

" it's fine we won't be gone long, and besides do we really need to know about the human body?" He asks as I agree..

"Okay fine"I say as I grab his hand he held out for me to take

We walk out back of campus and s beautiful garden with all different kinds of flowers everywhere and this beautiful fish pond.

"Wow, this is amazing" I say as I lay my bag down and look around in amazement

"Yeah I started building this last year, when I wanted a quiet place to read on campus" he says proudly as he's watching me look around.

"You read?" I say sarcastically with a grin on my face as I turn to look at him

"That so hard to believe , Surfent"he says grinning at me

"Jade. And no this place is beautiful" I say sitting next to him

"Got it, so what's bothering you?" He asks as he's looking into my eyes

"Just family things is all" I say nervously as he is still looking at me

"Sorry to hear that" he says adjusting himself

"So I want to be straight forward with you jade" he says turning to face me looking into my eyes

"Okay" I say as my heart starts beating faster and faster

"I um I like you jade Surfent" he says looking nervous

"Oh" I say completely caught off guard
