"Wait, wait,wait,so not only did you both lie to me about having grandparents but you lied to me about what species I am?" I say looking flabbergasted at both of my parents, with partial betrayal in my face.
"Jade, honey we can explain"says my mother with a saddened look on her face.
" go for it then, try to make all of this make sense to me mom" I say with a tone to my voice and a facial expression I've never showed my parents,I was pissed.
" oh jade, well your mother and I, we um, we adopted you from my brother before he turned us away and went to be in the wild, but we are still your parents honey, no matte what" says my dad as he looks frightened about what he just said.
" Dad~" I say as my voice is breaking and tears begin to fill my eyes
" baby please, your mother and I couldn't conceive children, and when we first saw you, we knew instantly" my dad says as he starts crying.
" but why? Why did you wait 18 years to tell me? You both lied to me about who I am, what I am, who my real parents are, who even am I?" I say looking at both of the with betrayal in my face yet once again.
My parents stunned for words, I storm up to my room. I need to get out of here for a while, I need to clear my head. I'm gonna change and go to bryson wells party tonight. I need to clear my head and get fresh air after what I just heard.
I sneak downstairs my mom, dad, and grandparents are still in the dining room discussing things about me. I grab my keys and head out the door.
I arrive at brysons party and make my way inside to get a beer.
"Ow!" I yell ask I bump into someone
"Surfent girl, hey I didn't know this was your type of scene"Rowan says as he laughs at me for rubbing my shoulder.
"Well I've had a hell of a night carrington, and now I'm gonna make my way upstairs and get laid" I say walking away and saying that as if I meant it.
"Mhmm"he says walking towards the kitchen
I make my way upstairs, trying not to fall since I've had 4 beers already at least I think it's beer? I open a door to a bedroom and swing the door open.
"Hey! Occupied" a familiar voice yells
"Shit,shit, sorry" I say as I hurriedly close the door
I stand outside the room trying to gather myself. The door opens and it's no other than Jake Scott's.
"Jake?" I say confused
"Jade, hail he says as he's zipping his pants up, a little bit embarrassed
"Hi Jake, sorry to ruin your little bedroom party" I say feeling bad
" wouldn't want it to be anyone else Surfent girl" he says flirting with me
"How are you going to have sex with someone, then 2 minutes later flirt with me?" I ask looking confused but damn this boy got a body
"Well because I don't care about the person I just fucked, but I do care about the gorgeous girl standing in front of me" he says getting closer to me as I back into the wall, looking into his eyes.
" hey jade" Rowan says as I push my way through Jake and over to him
"I'll see you later? Yeah?" I say to Jake as me and Rowan make our way downstairs
"You know it" jake yells from down the hallway grinning at me
"Seriously, Jake?" Rowan says to me looking concerned
"Oh hey dad didn't know you were here" I say to him being sarcastic
"He's a jerk jade" he says looking at me
"Oh and you aren't, Mr I'm so bad" I say mocking him
"He will hurt you" he says walking in front of me
"Oh like you wouldn't" I say as I push past him
" I wouldn't" he mumbles as if he thought I wouldn't hear him
I go home after having one hell of a night I just wanna go to sleep and pretend the last 24 hours was a dream.
